Selon l'étude American Life Project de l'institut Pew Internet, près de 30 % des internautes américains sont des taggueurs ! Entendez par là qu'ils sauvegardent leurs favoris en ligne sur des sites tels que del.icio.us et qu'ils affublent leurs photos Flickr et les billets de leurs blogs de leurs propres mots-clés.

7 % des internautes tagguent du contenu tous les jours.

Une nouvelle habitude qui se retrouvera bientôt en entreprise puisque de nombreux éditeurs préparent des "del.icio.us like" en version professionnelle.

"Ce principe permet de créer des ontologies empiriques. Imparfaites et en perpétuelle évolution, elles sont le reflet à un instant "t" des centres d'intérêt des internautes", explique Jérémy Chatard, directeur technique de la SSII Breek
