Japan's Eee PC killer now available in U.S.

SANTA BARBARA, CALIF. -- A week or two ago, a few gadget blogs covered the Japan-only mini PC called Kohjinsha SC. With built-in GPS, TV antenna and swivel-top tablet mode, the mini laptop is definitely desirable. All reports said it was Japan only. But now you can buy the English-language version in the U.S. for $1100.

The company sells this tiny powerhouse in Japan only. But the U.S. company Dynamism, which installs English-language software on Japanese gadgets and sells then in the U.S., is now offering the laptop for sale.
