It’s a good thing no one is basing anything important like huge tax increases or massive government restrictions or enormous personal sacrifices on this global warming stuff. Because the case for manmade global warming doing serious damage to ol’ planet earth just keeps getting weaker and weaker.

Remember how we were not just told, but assured that global warming would bring horrific hurricanes, more and worse than ever before?

Well, the fellow who advanced that idea for 20 years, professor of atmospheric science at MIT Kerry Emanuel, just had an “Oops” moment. Nevermind, he says. He got it wrong.

Emanuel has recanted and admits now that hurricanes and storms will decline - not increase - in the coming 200 years.

On top of that (hold on to your global warming hat), hurricanes and storms have little or nothing to do with global temperature changes at all, he says now.
