Another one of Chen's characters. Here he designs pseudo concept art for a bulkier individual. As usual this is for you to see the way he works and what steps he takes to complete a piece. This is not meant to be an illustration tutorial, rather a concept art tutorial because the character is rough and conveys only the important aspects instead of a fancy rendering. This is a good process to work through when you have to get a set of characters completed by a deadline. As it allows you to develop a routine when working with them.
