Javnost Srbije dočekala je blagovremeno i blistavo reizdanje jedne od najznačajnijih i najuticajnijih knjiga 20. veka. Entuzijazam vrednih i bistrih ljudi iz smederevskog Heliksa rezultirao je u novom izdanju i prevodu studije Sebični gen Ričarda Dokinsa (2008). Cela stvar izvedena je pre nekoliko nedelja.

Razlog Dokinsove popularnosti i globalnog značaja leži i u tome što on ume postavljati fundamentalna pitanja i pružati blistave naučne odgovore na njih. Otkuda ljudi? Zašto nam seks toliko znači? Koja je uloga kulture? Da li su ljudi jedinstveni? Kako neke ideje opstaju toliko dugo? Da li ljudi moraju biti agresivni i ratoborni? Šta to nasleđujemo od roditelja? Zašto sarađujemo?
