POPSWas Zappos forced to sell by venture capitalisists? A big hesitancy i've always had about raising venture capital money is that i would lose control of decision making for Amplify and Clipmarks - in regards to things related to user experience as well as if/when to raise money and/or sell the company. That said, additional resources sure would help. At this point i think we've raised about $136M less than Ning :)

POPSTwitter Hall of Shame Because I live under a rock, I found many interesting things on this list. Poking around the links led me to some very good articles. I learned a lot about how companies can use Twitter to interact with their customer base, as well as ways to screw that all up.

POPSThe Zappos Way The online shoe company Zappos encourages the weak to quit after a training period. They even pay them to. Know of any other companies that do the same thing?
