POPSDear Old Love I wish I’d saved a few pairs of your underwear, to seal in a jar and keep on a shelf high in the pantry. Is that the sort of thing that makes you miss me, or glad it’s over?

POPSHindu Philosophy popular in America Once viewed by Christians as a pagan import from the East, yoga has now become mainstream in the church through "Christ-centered yoga classes" designed to help improve spirituality and experience "the presence of God".

POPSWhat Women Want (Maybe) “Heterosexual women are responding to women, which is counterintuitive,” Dr. Chivers said. “Why are women so turned on by watching other women?” Straight and gay men, as well as lesbians, were more predictably aroused by images of their preferred sex, Dr. Chivers found."

POPSNew research shows diet and exercise may change how genes act "These genes are the target of many new drugs that are being developed. Clearly, changing lifestyle is less expensive, and the only side-effects are good ones. Dr. Craig Venter’s pioneering research is showing that one way to change your genes is to synthesize new ones. Another may be to change your lifestyle." This research have a very small sample size so it doesn't prove much but I found it very interesting.

POPSnon-drug options for ADHD - but they leave out the most effective one Sadly, they neglect to mention the most effective non-drug treatment for ADHD/ADD: exercise . John Ratey, MD, associate clinical professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, studies how exercise affects the brain -- in particular, how it affects people with ADHD. See the articles on his website for more information, or take a look at this article for an overview of what he's found. Personally, given a choice between "take this medication which may or may not help your condition and by the way you'll have to deal with the side effects which can be nasty" and "go for a two-mile run", I'll take the run. It's cheaper, better for me, and a lot more enjoyable.
