Not just any church of course, but a Mega-Church. 1. Obama uses Rick Warren as an endorsement to escape his association in public minds with the so-called "reverend" Wright: “looking forward to going back to Saddleback with his good friend Pastor Rick Warren.” Obama spoke at Saddleback in 2006. 2. McCain gets to publicly show that he is not averse to (so-called) Christian political churches, which he has criticized in past. 3. Rick Warren, Mr. Hireling and his "Purpose Driven Church"(merchandisers), gets to increase his publicity and no doubt a huge intake of "tithes and offerings" (and 5013c IRS laws will not prevent, since it is bipartisan) for his corrupt church, which Jesus and the apostles would not recognize any more than a Roman Catholic Mass. All in all, this is theater and corruption, religious and political leaders, like the Pharisees and Herodians getting together (who persecuted apostles, as Jesus warned), but no one dare say so.

He essentially threw her under the bus, saying that she had made racist remarks while he was growing up, a statement that served only to highlight Obama’s own remarkable transcendence. After several weeks of balancing his professed love for Wright with the controversial statements of his chosen father figure and spiritual mentor, Obama eventually left his church of 20 years. But why then, after all those years, did Obama finally find the door? What changed was the degree of his self-interest. In Obama’s scheme of things his wife, too, can be classified as eminently patriotic, now that for the first time in her life she can be proud of America thanks to the success of his political career. The “bitter” blue-collar whites, by contrast, cannot be patriotic for as long as they cling to guns, religion, and bigotry, all of which supposedly explains their antipathy to him.

POPSThe Future of Gaming I have tried to capture some hints about the future of gaming. As the author remarks: "For now, the only way to predict the future of gaming is to predict that all predictions will be wrong." Yet, it seems that in the not so far future, games are going to deeply affect the way we perceive our world. Especially the younger generations will be affected, and to some extent it is already happening. It seems that eventually games will not only affect our perception of the world, they WILL become a substantial part of our world.
