POPSLet's Wake Up and Make A Difference in 2010!
We know it is false and just a pathetic excuse to seize control of us. We must track these efforts and have a zero tolerance policy for these efforts. The other Government control battle in our face the next few months is the communist and anti constitutional health care bill congress and this President are planning to cram down our parched throats. Second weapon used against us Radical Islam Islam has always wanted control of the world. Financed and radical groups since the 1920s have taught, preached and pursued a worldwide Caliphate of control. Their taught and known methods of doing this include silent and violent jihad world wide. The fundamentalists study and know our sensitive, our legal loopholes and ways to intimidate and scare us. Only on Christmas we saw the latest horror show on flight 253 by a wanna be Islamic martyr from Nigeria. It was a miracle the plane didn’t blow up. The organized Islamic terrorist groups are like body parts of the mother alien and ...

POPSTrillions Of Troubles Ahead When the debt treadmills spin too fast, people will have to jump off, ditch the dollar and create their own media of exchange. Communities did it very sucessfully in the 1930s with their own 'scrip' currencies.

POPSRe: Kelika's Clip-Stealth boat Ady Gil Intriguing clip by Kelika led me to do a little research. More from the article below: "Now the newly-renamed vessel has been unveiled as the Sea Shepherd's new weapon in the organisation's sixth campaign against whaling, Operation Waltzing Mathilda, which will launch from Australia early next month. The craft, which is capable of up to 50 knots, will be used to intercept and physically block harpoon ships from illegally slaughtering whales. The Ady Gil and the Steve Irwin are the two remaining ships in the Sea Shepherd Society’s fleet. A third vessel – the Farley Mowat – was sent to protest against Canadian seal hunting last year and was seized by offiicials."

POPSWWII: Some of what happened and why. This is a good short article. My thought as I read this is could we..in the world be looking at history repeating itself? Most people seem unaware of what is going on. The main news sources don't record many things. Most people are happy running their rat race..living day to day...they don't question why? Or don't look deeper. Just some thoughts.

POPSMissing girl sailor Laura Dekker found safe in Antilles Miss Dekker is a seasoned sailor who was born on a yacht off the coast of New Zealand during a seven-year world trip. She had a yacht by the age of six and began sailing solo when she was 10. Her father, Dick Dekker, supports her attempt at the record, while her mother has expressed some concerns. Miss Dekker had planned to spend about two years aboard her 8m (26ft) boat, Guppy, to break the record set in August by a 17-year-old UK boy. Mike Perham tackled 50ft waves, gale force winds and technical problems during the 45,000-km (28,000-mile) circumnavigation, which took him nine months.

POPS“It’s a Catastrophe,” said a Member of the European Delegation But the agreement – reached in Friday night talks between Obama and leaders of China, India, South Africa and Brazil – was more notable for what it doesn’t accomplish than what it does, an inconvenient truth Obama ruefully acknowledged to reporters. He conceded that no more specific deal – much less a legally binding one – was possible until the issue of “trust” between industrialized and developing nations was resolved. The agreement contained none of the specific emissions targets European and African negotiators had hoped to nail down, simply a broad-brush promise by the countries in the room to cap the overall global temperature rise to two degrees Celsius and provide a written record of their planned reductions. It’s unclear how many nations, particularly poorer countries who felt shut out of the process, were included in the final deal or how they will vote if the deal is put to one.

POPSWhy Britain faces a bleak future of food shortages It's a hard truth to face. Without the food, the population will not continue to grow. As babies starve, then people will have fewer of them, and the population will decline. As for the science having another green revolution up its sleeve, it is in way over its head. GM has proved very disappointing when it come to increasing yields.

POPSDemocrat Utopia: Free Unicorns for Everyone In addition to spending billions more than it takes in, Michigan's $2.3 billion community health budget, 90 percent of which is Medicaid, will get slammed with an additional $500 million or so by socialized medicine. And that's just part of the problem. Emergency Jobless Claims Hit All-Time High: And I thought President Obama said the economy was recovering. The number you won't hear mentioned anywhere in the Mainstream Media: 327,729. That is how many people shifted to Emergency Unemployment Compensation programs in the last week alone, hitting an all time record high of 4.2 million! Oh, and did you hear? America is broke -- and the Democrats keep spending: Politico's headline reads 'Dems to lift debt ceiling by $1.8 trillion, fear 2010 backlash'. In a nutshell, the Statists are in a central-planning frenzy and won't let up until they control health care and every energy-consuming business in the country:

POPSMore “Hide The Decline” From NASA GISS The pattern emerging is one of alarmists having to ‘adjust’ the data because it shows there is no man-made warming , per their own highly vaunted climate models. The same models that have produced all the dire predictions of pending doom. One thing you NEVER do in science is ‘adjust’ the data to meet your desired outcome. And one thing you also NEVER do is trust those whose careers and credibility rest on producing a desired outcome to do the verification and validation of their own theories. POPSThe UnConventional Kong Ming Sky Lantern Sky lanterns (sky candles) (simplified Chinese: 天灯; traditional Chinese: 天燈; pinyin: tiān dēng or simplified Chinese: 孔明灯; traditional Chinese: 孔明燈; pinyin: kǒngmíng dēng) are airborne paper lanterns traditionally found in East Asian cultures. They are constructed from oiled rice paper on a bamboo frame, and contain a small candle or fuel cell composed of a waxy flammable material. When lit, the flame heats the air inside the lantern, thus lowering its density causing the lantern to rise into the air. The sky lantern is only airborne for as long as the flame stays alight, after which the lantern floats back to the ground.
