merrie
by merrie  12-30-2009    2
It is hot in the office and sometimes our work room is scorching just as well. If you just can’t find the time to step away from your desk, and instead of warming your seat, you feel it is heating you up, then this USB Ass Cooler is for you. USB connected, it brings you a fan from the bottom up. A fan is installed in your actual chair, so you can have a personal air condition that is just in your space. This may make you the envy of the office, and many may flock to be around your cool aura. Get Gmail Tasks on Your Desktop With Google Chrome
merrie
by merrie  11-5-2009    5
Google Chrome has the slick ability to turn any page or site into its own application, similar to Fluid on Mac OS X. With Chrome, we can turn Tasks into a standalone app with just a few clicks. I find it handy to have my to-do list separate so I don’t get distracted with e-mail or Google Chat while I’m working. More about Gmail Tasks. Get Google Chrome.  Inside this seemingly free-spirited, creative environment founded by two pseudo-hippies lies an us-against-the-world overtone. But the truth is that Apple doesn't play particularly well with others. And that is both its greatest strength and its greatest flaw.

GTD Toolbox: 100+ Resources for Getting Things Done
billpar
by billpar  8-27-2009
folks, I have tried a simple and elegant tool which I like more than any other thicker tool that I have tried. MonkeyGTD - awesome features - built on TiddlyWiki - works from my USB (also known as an extension of my body) - and preserves the original elegance (terminology, philosophy, etc) of GTD. Frankly I love it. check it out... It's way better than many/most of the ones listed here. well - RTM does come close with it's gears based version - and I really love the way it parses dates intelligently - but that's more a task manager function than a GTD function. But if you ask me to pick , I will choose MonkeyGTD! (though, I need to admit, the learning curve is more for MonkeyGTD if you havenot used a tiddly before)

10 Strangest Japanese Toys
cakebelly
by cakebelly  7-29-2009
The Obama & Pregnant dolls have been features on CM before but I clipped them again, anyway, Here's the info for the last toy featured. "Kaba Kick is a Russian Roulette for kids, well in this case a Japanese Roulette. The player points the gun at his or her own head and pulls the trigger. Instead of bullets, a pair of feet kick out from the barrel (which is shaped like a pink hippo). If the gun doesn't fire, the player earns points. I would surely like my kids playing this healthy game. (Source)"
