POPSPope Benedict XVI: we must all go green to save the planet Calling for an end to war and in particular the suffering of children, the 82-year-old, German-born pontiff said there was "a close link" between respect for mankind and respect for nature. "If humanity shames itself, it damages its environment", Benedict said. He appealed for "investment in education with the objective not only to transmit technical and scientific concepts, but also a broader and deeper 'ecological responsibility' based on respect for humanity, human rights and fundamental duties". The Pope went on to say, " God be with the days when boys wore hot pants, the public were cowed down and silent and we could get away with murder."

POPSObama Extends Hand, But America's Critics Keep Fists Clenched Probably because it wasn't all about Pres. Bush, his policies, or anything else other than America's ideology, it's power, it's prosperity. However, now that that's changing all our enemies can say whatever and ally themselves with each other to undermine and destroy us. Obama is weak; they are taking advantage of that.

POPS“A History lesson….Cry for Me, Argentina” 12.9.2009
Among Irigoyen’s changes: mandatory pension insurance, mandatory health insurance, and support for low-income housing construction to stimulate the economy. Simply put, the state assumed economic control of a vast swath of the country’s operations and began assessing new payroll taxes to fund its efforts. With an increasing flow of funds into these entitlement programs, the government’s payouts soon became overly generous. Before long its outlays surpassed the value of the taxpayers’ contributions. Put simply, it quickly became under-funded, much like the United States Social Security and Medicare programs. The death knell for the Argentine economy, however, came with the election of Juan Perón. Perón had a fascist and corporatist upbringing ; he and his charismatic wife aimed their populist rhetoric at the nation’s rich. This targeted group “swiftly expanded to cover most of the propertied middle classes, who became an enemy to be defeated and humiliated.”

POPSIt's Not Socialism, It's Communism ..... We know that he was greatly influenced by Marxists or people who viewed Communism sympathetically, not the least of which were his grandparents who introduced him to a mentor , Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Communist Party USA. The recent United Nations' Climate Change Conference refused to take notice of the revelations that the data on which the "global warming" theory is based was falsified by a handful of meteorologists and climatologists in an effort to impose a global governing system. The interim first Secretary General of the UN was Alger Hiss, an American and secret Soviet agent. Virtually the entire agenda of American environmental organizations has been focused on an attack on private property rights and denying Americans access to their vast reserves of energy in the form of coal, oil, and natural gas, thus undermining U.S. growth and prosperity.

POPS District 9 Stream Online Free Thirty years ago, aliens made first contact with Earth. Humans waited for the hostile attack, or the giant advances in technology. Neither came. Instead, the aliens were refugees, the last survivors of their home world. The creatures were set up in a makeshift home in South Africa’s District 9 as the world’s nations argued over what to do with them.

POPSNo Stopping New World Government Although the traditional nation-state as we know it is far from perfect, it is also far better than the alternative --- a one-world government that would replace the concept of sovereign nations as we know it. So says Janet Daley in a recent story appearing in the UK Telegraph...

POPS“It’s a Catastrophe,” said a Member of the European Delegation But the agreement – reached in Friday night talks between Obama and leaders of China, India, South Africa and Brazil – was more notable for what it doesn’t accomplish than what it does, an inconvenient truth Obama ruefully acknowledged to reporters. He conceded that no more specific deal – much less a legally binding one – was possible until the issue of “trust” between industrialized and developing nations was resolved. The agreement contained none of the specific emissions targets European and African negotiators had hoped to nail down, simply a broad-brush promise by the countries in the room to cap the overall global temperature rise to two degrees Celsius and provide a written record of their planned reductions. It’s unclear how many nations, particularly poorer countries who felt shut out of the process, were included in the final deal or how they will vote if the deal is put to one.

POPSObama's Push for Copenhagen Deal Could Violate Constitution the White House is flirting with the possibility of taking action without Congress. Last week, on the day the climate summit opened in Denmark, the EPA formally declared that greenhouse gases including carbon dioxide are a danger to human health -- a finding that could pave the way for massive new regulations under the Clean Air Act for cars, power plants, crude-oil refineries and chemical plants. Democratic Rep. Ed Markey of Massachusetts, co-author of the House climate change bill, told Fox News that the Obama administration has the power to act without Congress through the EPA...... foxnews.com/politics/ http://bit.ly/8czisQ

POPSNEW WORLD ORDER- - Ready or NOT! . It is going to be a binding political deal, which will lead to a legally binding treaty next year,” he told the Times’ Bruce Wallace, adding that a formal treaty would be signed by mid-2010. Ki-moon also hinted that the arrival of President Barack Obama could grasp victory from the jaws of defeat for the globalists, who up until now have looked like failing in their efforts to secure a multilateral agreement at Copenhagen that includes China, India and the United States. Could Obama roll in as the “savior” of Copenhagen in an eleventh hour turnaround? The Secretary General has not been shy in proclaiming the unfolding agenda for a global dictatorship to override national parliaments.

POPSThe UN I$ The Mo$t Corrupt In$titution On Earth Carefully cultivating the image of the concerned “scientist”, he has on the back of the global warming hype not only been able to amass a considerable personal fortune (about which he is extraordinarily shy) but has also built a powerful global organisation under the brand-name “TERI”, as the front for his lobbying and power-broking activities. And, as one might expect, part of the Pachauri empire is a branch office in Washington DC, based at 1101 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, within sight of the Capitol. Called TERI-NA (The Energy and Resources Institute, North America), it was set up as a “501(c)(3) company” (non-profit) in 1990, it is not even very discrete in its objectives, telling us that: Its activities have centred around conducting research and organizing workshops/conferences to sensitize the decision-makers in North America to developing countries’ concern about energy and environment.

POPSStephen McIntyre: Portrait of a Climate Analyst
--- it claimed the 1990s was the millennium's hottest decade " he's considered a denier by those who fear the planet is burning up. But the Toronto native won't stop asking the tough questions. "We shouldn't give any thanks whatsoever to people who obstruct efforts to show that their particular theory was wrong," said McIntyre, whose own work is derided as bunk by the tight-knit academics he monitors. Now, skeptics of climate change " and McIntyre is not alone " have new fodder to absorb from the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit scandal. Hacked emails have been made public, suggesting scientists may have manipulated data to offer more dramatic interpretations of global warming. It's that kind of bad science, bolstered by peer-reviewed papers and protected by agenda-driven researchers, that McIntyre wants to expose. And no, he's not funded by the oil industry or big business " the Toronto native is unpaid, living off his savings

POPSUN-Backed Troops Accused of Killing & Raping Civilians British-based organization Oxfam said. Human Rights Watch said it documented the killings of 732 civilians between January and September by the Congolese army and troops from neighboring Rwanda fighting alongside it. In the same period, it counted 701 civilians killed by the rebels they are fighting. “Some victims were tied together before their throats were, according to one witness, ’slit like chickens.’ The majority of the victims were women, children, and the elderly,” the group said. More than 7,500 cases of sexual violence against women and girls were registered at health centers during that nine-month period, nearly double that of 2008 and likely representing only a fraction of the total. POPSHOUSE OF FOOLS Get Out And Vote The European Union has an unelected President. The Security Counsel of the United Nations was not elected. Climate Change leaders are not elected, not democratic, not basing their decisions of science. Ponder for a moment. Why do they want your money if they can't save the world. ALL IS VANITY. Climate Change taxes are fraudulent. Don't give them your money unless they can save the world (which they can't). I believe that Kyoto was designed to keep the whole continent of Africa in a state of servitude because it thwarts it's development.

POPSClimateGate: hiding the decline ‘Any scientist ought to know that you just can’t mix and match proxy and actual data’... CRU 'can't be trusted' says MP.... ‘I know there is pressure to present a nice tidy story as regards “apparent unprecedented warming in a thousand years or more”.’ But his conscience was troubled. ‘In reality the situation is not quite so simple - I believe that the recent warmth was probably matched about 1,000 years ago.’

POPSWhat the Copenhagen treaty means to you. The wording of the treaty creates governmental bodies with a vast array of power over environmental affairs. The treaty gives these new governmental bodies tremendous power over the lives of every man, woman and child on earth. It even grants these new governmental authorities authority over the U.S. government and the U.S. Constitution. "Tax the American economy to the extent of 2 percent GDP, to impose a further tax of 2 percent on every financial transaction.and to close down effectively the economies of the west, transfer your jobs to third world countries all of that is still in the treaty draft." 700 new organizations that would be crawling all over the world micromanaging the lives of every man, woman and child - making sure that they are adhering to the edicts of the new environmental world laws.

POPSHypocrisy Abounds at Climate Change Summit This hypocrisy will once again be on full display at the United Nations summit on climate change which will soon take place in Copenhagen. As world leaders gather to try to find ways for the rest of us to cut emissions, they themselves will be flown in private jets and driven in limos. So far more than twelve hundred limos have been ordered for the event with more expected, and according to airport officials in Copenhagen more than one hundred and forty private jets have already been chartered for the event in which the world is supposed to take a hard stand against emissions. So as our fearless leaders gather to lecture the third world and normal citizens of western countries how they are killing the planet, they themselves will be creating more than forty thousand tonnes of emissions, which is the same amount a city of 500,000 would produce in the same amount of time. Sometimes irony and hypocrisy aren’t strong enough words.
