POPSMeet Japan's First Western Geisha "Sayuki denies she's a flawless example of Japan's ancient flower and willow world. "Being a geisha takes a lifetime to perfect," she deflects, as she clacks along in lacquer sandals that she wears slightly too small to make her size-8 feet look more petite. Sayuki, who was born in Melbourne, Australia, became the first foreign woman in the notoriously closed profession's 400-year history to formally debut as a geisha two years ago, in late 2007. "I've only just begun," she says. "To many of my geisha sisters, I'm still a walking disaster." Read it all here: http://www.marieclaire.com/world-reports/news/japans-western-geisha Long article, but interesting.

POPS A SUMMIT FOR THUGS Yeah, we’re the murderers. Not Mugabe " who delighted in the torture, starvation and killing of his own people, for years. This would all be hilarious if these creeps didn’t have our own leaders on their side. Witness secretary of State Hillary Clinton announcing that our country is ready to create an annual $100 billion climate protection fund to help “address the climate change needs of developing countries.” Where will this money come from? Well, Hillary wouldn’t say " but she didn’t have to. There’s only one place it can come from " you. And that’s why the Chavez’s and the Mugabe’s of the world love climate change hysteria so much. To the world’s thugs, thieves and murderers, the US becomes that fat tourist in his favorite vacation hat, jingling his change on a street corner. Easy pickings. Red Eye's Greg Gutfeld .... POPSEiffel Tower: The View Looking Down I was in Paris a few years ago, and would recommend skipping the ET if you're going as a tourist. Wait times to get to the top are too long and forget about taking the stairs unless you are an Olympian. This photo is probably the closest thing to being there.

POPSPanhandler Shot Dead A panhandler was recognized by police, he ran and fired at them; they fired back and killed him. Good. I am glad this looser is dead. You runaway from police instead of standing up like a man and face the charges that are forthcoming.

POPSWatch out for the trolls, but don't take your eye off of the road Trollstigen is closed during the fall and winter months. A normal opening season stretches from the middle of May to October, but may sometimes be shorter or longer due to changes in the weather conditions, or unexpected trolls of course. In the summer of 2005 the road was repaired and about 16 million NOK was spent on protection against rockfall, making the road a lot safer to drive on....that is unless you aren't watching closely......for the trolls.....bwahahahahahaha......
