POPSSnowy Owl I spent several hours out in the freezing, windy cold today with my camera, telephoto lens, binoculars, spotting scope, and a thermos of hot coffee trying to catch a glimpse of this owl. It is rare that they appear in Tennessee. I am resolved not to give up.

POPSTop Ten Ghost Photos - #1 Almost ten years ago, on November 19th, 1995, Wem Town Hall in Shropshire, England was engulfed in flames and burned to the ground. As firefighters tried to stave off the inferno a town resident, Tony O'Rahilly, took pictures from across the street using a telephoto lens on his camera. There, rather clearly in one of the photos, is what looks very much to be a small girl standing in a doorway, with the brightness of the flames behind her. Okay, so what's a girl ghost doing in such a big fire? Well in 1677 a fire destroyed many of Wem’s wooden houses. The fire was said to have been caused by a 14-year old girl named Jane Churm, who had been careless with a candle. Churm died in the fire along with several others, and her ghost is said to still haunt the area.

POPSCamera Tricks and ABC news This is in tandem with how they edited to footage to change her answers to questions, such as when she said "Yes" she had met foreign leaders, and the interview they aired showed her saying "no" to that question. (She was answering a different question!)

POPSMumbai Anamolies: Police Didn't Fire Back, Advance Warnings This is a very strange, even suspicious, account from a credentialed eye witness journalist. Then next we find out that The Taj Mahal Hotel had received previous warning : The Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai, India, temporarily increased security after being warned of a possible terrorist attack, the chairman of the company that owns the hotel said Saturday. And don't miss this in the manager's account, their "security" did not include guarding the back door! Why not? However, Tata said the attackers did not enter through the entrance that has a metal detector. Instead, they came in a back entrance, he said...."They knew what they were doing, and they did not go through the front. All of our arrangements are in the front," he said. Inside knowledge? Inside help? Would any sane manager (in a city previously having trains bombed in 2006) be so lax, at an international hotel?
