Look Up People.........is this normal???
mountainpalm
by mountainpalm  1-2-2010    5
CHEMTRAILS' are widely observed in NUMEROUS countries: Britain, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Germany, France, Switzerland, etc. Military and civil authorities in these countries are reluctant to give information on exactly what is being sprayed by aircraft to cause this new, man-made type of 'cloud' cover. One suggested explanation is that it is to reduce the effects of 'Global Warming'. BUT WE ALL NO THERE IS NO SUCH THING as GLOBAL warming. Google chemtrails.......you will get an education....and be thankful you did. This must be stopped.

Geothermal could shake up the world
amgumen
by amgumen  12-20-2009    1
On Dec. 11, U.S. firm AltaRock Energy shut down a California geothermal project known as the Geysers that was based on a similar design as Basel. The Energy Department – which supplied $6 million in funding – had been investigating the project's safety following reports by federal officials that the company had failed to supply sufficient information about the Basel quakes when applying for the go-ahead.

Why Switzerland Has The Lowest Crime Rate
dl211
by dl211  12-14-2009    12
"I would want to be free, never in a situation where someone could march us off to ovens or prisons or take away our freedom.' "The key to freedom is the ability to be able to defend yourself. If you don't have the tools to do that then you're at the mercy of whoever wants you to put you away." The Swiss understand freedom and their citizens are prepared to fight to keep theirs.

Bin Laden threatens to bomb Switzerland
foxyarse
by foxyarse  12-6-2009
He attempted to persuade Swiss mountain cows coming off of the mountains, mentioning cows are, "holy creatures and guided by Allah and Hindu's" (what the f**k have Hindu's in common with Muslims?) and they could be used as suicide bombers, especially as no-one would search their cow-bells (perfect place to hide his bombs). Not such a brilliant idea so he's decided to clone his suicide-bombers into Roger Federer look-alikes (dark and swarthy our Roger!) infiltrate Switzerland, bomb the crap out of the place and teach the Swiss a lesson or two in Minaret building! Only place his Roger Federer clones are not allowed to bomb is the Swiss National Bank, Bin Laden has personal interests there, his multi-millions + that other interest!!!!

UNEP Document: Environmentalism, A False Religion
merrie
by merrie  12-2-2009    1
The positions argued in that paper now appear to be much closer at hand; many of them are embedded in a four-year strategy document for UNEP taking effect next year, in the immediate wake of the much-touted, 11-day Copenhagen conference on "climate change," which starts on Dec. 7, and which is intended to push environmental concerns to a new crescendo. The major difference is that the four-year UNEP plan expresses its aims in the carefully soporific language that U.N. organizations customarily use to swaddle their objectives. The Swiss document makes its case passionately " and more plainly " than any U.N. official document ever would. Or, more discreetly, as the strategy document puts it: "Integrated environmental assessments that highlight the state of the environment and trends will be used to inform decision-makers and ensure UNEP plays its lead environmental role in the United Nations system and strengthens its capacity to

Swiss Government Votes To Ban Minarets

 4. Dim-witted, lazy, fit only for physical labor -- but you have to threaten them to get off their butts, because they won't work otherwise; 5. Constitutionally weaker than members of the dominant culture; 6. Complete lack of moral self-control; 7. Bent on world domination. These plans always involve secret conspiracies and special skills known only to the clan; 8. Despite their minority status, they are thought to have far more power than their numbers, and an inordinate influence over the running of the country; 9. Heirs to an inhumanly bloody history that cannot be forgiven, and which they have never moved past (they're "bloodthirsty savages" with no redeeming qualities); and which never created anything meaningful in the way of art, music, science, or architecture (writing them out of history);

Swiss and Muslims compromise
foxyarse
by foxyarse  12-2-2009
For many years the major Swiss export import has been unemployment. The number of immigrants allowed in depends solely on the requirement for waiters and chamber maids. However, there may be some light at the end of the tunnel because Paul-Andre Guex representative for the Canton of Vaud and keen ornithologist has suggested that any Minarets built from now on should be embellished in a rather unconventional yet possibly more acceptable way. "It is well-known that the only thing we ever invented in this country was a couple of Type Faces nobody uses and the Cuckoo Clock. I have proposed to the Berne Government that problems could be avoided if all Minaret domes were in the form of Chalet-shaped Cuckoo Clocks or weather indicators instead of looking like oriental lollipops. "Here in Switzerland we have a bird called the wall creeper which has a call that sounds exactly like "Allahu Akbah", we could put them in the clocks so the Imams could call the faithful to prayer as they usu

Swiss Decide On Minarets

The two largest Jewish groups said the referendum infringed religious freedom, a concept enshrined in the Swiss constitution. Part of the Swiss People's Party's argument against minarets is that they are a symbol of political power - more than they are about religion.

Just curious is all, I like mysteries but this is beginning to bug me after a few days or so (on & off) Over to you guys. (I Hope)

AP NewsBreak: Swiss defend Polanski tipoff to US
ofcapri
by ofcapri  10-21-2009
According to the e-mails, the Swiss ministry sent an urgent fax to the U.S. Office of International Affairs on Sept. 22 stating Polanski was traveling to Zurich. The director was to be feted at a film festival, and Swiss officials wanted to know if the U.S. would be submitting a request for his arrest as he was the subject of an international law enforcement "Red Notice." "The Americans immediately confirmed that was the case," Galli said. As a result, Switzerland was required by treaty to apprehend Polanski, he said.
