POPSAnonymous Craigslist Letter to Dead Girlfriend -- Kleenex Required
Miranda joined in and then Catherine broke down. It was strange to stand in our bedroom surrounded by three crying girls. I made a joke about them crying for joy at the prospect of some free Manolo Balhniks which they didn't seem to find very funny. A few girls have put the moves on and as you know picking up women is not a forte of mine. It seems the grieving boyfriend seems to be a good angle. Who knew! I went on one date and spent it talking about you, the poor girl. You would have found it quite witty I think. No other dates to report, I am going against your orders to move on for now. I found one of those hair tie things that somehow managed to squeeze into every crevice in the apartment. It was under the bed. I sat on the floor holding it and cried. Until then I had held everything together but it just all came flooding out. Every morning when I wake up I forget for a fraction of a second that you are gone and I reach for you.

POPSDoes Death Exist? New Theory Says 'No' This was clear with the death of my sister Christine. After viewing her body at the hospital, I went out to speak with family members. Christine's husband - Ed - started to sob uncontrollably. For a few moments I felt like I was transcending the provincialism of time. I thought about the 20-watts of energy, and about experiments that show a single particle can pass through two holes at the same time. I could not dismiss the conclusion: Christine was both alive and dead, outside of time.

POPSNew Species of Cockroach Found In New York by 2 High School Students
"In their roles as "DNAHouse investigators," the pair trawled New York apartments, stores and street, collecting 217 specimens between November 2008 and March 2009. They took samples from supermarket food, the remains of an insect found in a box of fruit, a feather from a duster, dried dung and a cockroach and matched DNA sequences using the Barcode of Life Database and GenBank. The American Museum of Natural History laboratory identified 170 genetic codes, leading the researchers to identify 95 different animal species, including some that were unexpected. "A feather from a duster yielded ostrich DNA. A delicacy labeled 'sturgeon caviar' instead turned out to be from the strange-looking paddlefish. A popular Asian snack was revealed as giant flying squid. Bison DNA was found in a dog biscuit," the pair wrote on the Rockefeller University website. In fact, they found that 16 percent of food items were mislabeled, including cheeses labeled sheep's milk that were actually ma

POPSGod Bless Our Troops I realized the families that I saw this night, owed their lives to these soldiers who were willing to fight. Soon round the world, the children would play, and grownups would celebrate a bright Christmas day. They all enjoyed freedom each month of the year, because of the soldiers, like the one lying here. I couldn't help wonder how many lay alone, on a cold Christmas Eve in a land far from home. The very thought brought a tear to my eye, I dropped to my knees and started to cry. The soldier awakened and I heard a rough voice, "Santa don't cry, this life is my choice; I fight for freedom, I don't ask for more, my life is my God, my Country, My Corps." The soldier rolled over and drifted to sleep, I couldn't control it, I continued to weep. I kept watch for hours, so silent and still and we both shivered from the cold night's chill.

POPSIn Hoc Anno Domini So the light came into the world
who heard strange voices or read strange manuscripts. There was enslavement of men whose tribes came not from Rome, disdain for those who did not have the familiar visage. And most of all, there was everywhere a contempt for human life. What, to the strong, was one man more or less in a crowded world? Then, of a sudden, there was a light in the world, and a man from Galilee saying, Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's and unto God the things that are God's. And the voice from Galilee, which would defy Caesar, offered a new Kingdom in which each man could walk upright and bow to none but his God. Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. And he sent this gospel of the Kingdom of Man into the uttermost ends of the earth. So the light came into the world and the men who lived in darkness were afraid, and they tried to lower a curtain so that man would still believe salvation lay with the leaders.

POPSAvatar: A Blockbuster Adventure One thing that can’t be argued, though is Cameron’s ability to not only create characters but a complete alien world. Strange creatures aren’t just thrown on the screen, everything here interacts with each other. He designed a world better than this earth.

POPSGuardian 100 best films of the 2000s: 11-100 "Oldboy" is a powerful film not because of what it depicts, but because of the depths of the human heart which it strips bare. The top 10 will be published daily starting 21 Dec. See 11 - 100 list in full @ clip source. The 2000s: decade of the emergence of Mexican talent - Gael Garcia Bernal, Diego Luna, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy!) and Alfonso Cuaron. Is the Motorcycle Diaries in the top 10? Stay tuned. Note: I can clip images if I hover over an image and select shift+r, but that only works if that option is available: strange.

POPS"THE CRASHERS" Tareq & Michaele Salahi in 2005...................WHAT A SCAM to throw the Secret Service UNDER THE BUS!!!! and Barry O knows them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tareq and Michaele Salahi snapped the pic above with Obama at a “Rock The Vote” event on 09 June 2005 (btw also attended by John McCain … whom the Salahi’s also took a pic with).. McCain won an award for his work on campaign finance reform”. “Just call me Funk Master McCain”, he told the audience of 1000 in accepting his award. Obama won an award for “forming a multiracial coalition in winning his seat”. Cute. Michaele Salahi is getting quite a ribbing in the Press for lying about being a Redskins cheerleader, but Tareq is the much more interesting of the two to me. He has direct ties to Palestinian terrorists.
