POPSSOA and AJAX I really like the way that Dion ties SOA and AJAX together. It is interesting that he thinks that 80% of all web development will involve SOA by 2008, sounds a little Gartner-eque to me but I agree that SOA will be a much larger percent by 2008 than it is now and that it is here to stay. Also interesting to note the role of SOAP if most requests are going to be coming from an AJAX interface, namely that it will be trivialized and that REST based web services will be the dominant form since the are easy and work well with AJAX based apps.
