Sneeze kills man

by foxyarse  10-24-2009
'I can only image the sneeze combined with the Warfarin could have been the cause of death.' Dr John Bridger, who performed the post mortem, said no 'underlying trauma' or skull fractures was found. Coroner for Torbay and South Devon Ian Arrow said John died of subdural haematoma - trauma to the brain - and coronary artery disease. Retuning a verdict of accidental death, he said: 'The presence of Warfarin means the body is more susceptible to bleeding which means it could have been a minor trauma which lead to his death. 'He would have suffered a minor trauma and on the balance of probably it was likely it was the sneeze which lead to his death.'

I think I see so much of this in people. I'm really starting to notice it. Phrase that pays: "Most people eat wheat so often their bodies adapt and cope and so they experience mild forms of the symptom".

Natural decongestant is effective and safe taken year round
bulpoin
by bulpoin  9-7-2009
Over the counter decongestants at the pharmacy do have significant side effects. For some it's an interfereing grogginess. For some they act as a stimulant with possible stress to the heart. An all natural decongestant can be taken year round to lessen or prevent congestion all of the time.

Staph Infections Can Kill
dmoonme1
by dmoonme1  8-16-2009
Sorry to have to cut it short (as usual) The part about carriers is basic info though, and obvious enough as to who has consistent skin punctures, but all are not drug users. Landscapers cutting blackberry bushes or even clipping roses can make a way for it to get in. Anyway, the reason I added this clip today is I had a comment on my other clip "Things I Know That You Should Know", and how he believes that bacteria is generally harmless in a bio-war situation. There are countless bacterias out there that could do the job, but I used Staph as an example because almost everyone has heard of it, or has it, or has had one form or another of the blasted stuff. When it is active in the nose it can spread to the brain as well. It has become very resilient to most antibiotics, and it most certainly can be deadly!

This Is Nothing To Sneeze At
merrie
by merrie  7-11-2009
Perhaps some other less-important states would be willing to forfeit some or all of their federal flu-fighting funds so that Californians could avoid sneezing and continue to enjoy the sunshine that makes its way through the smog. There's way too many numbers in the announcement to really bother with. Suffice to say, there are grants for public health -- L.A. alone is getting $8,510,041. But, disturbingly, there are also immense grants for hospital preparedness. This would seem to indicate that the feds are not really counting on total prevention of the various flus that, according to media reports only a couple of months ago, threatened the human race with extinction. Never mind washing your hands frequently. The only answer is obviously more money. -- Andrew Malcolm

The WHO's Overblown "Pandemic", Common Cold Worse
blueridge
by blueridge  6-12-2009    1
With only 29,000 cases globally this refutes WHO's declaration of Swine Flu "pandemic", level 6, which has the potential of triggering draconian governmental powers. The Common Cold is an "unstoppable virus" with 1 billion cases annually--in the U.S. alone, has no "cure" or "vaccine", and is not a "pandemic"! The definition of "pandemic" is being abused. Where is the outcry of physicians against this! Tired of this propaganda.

U.S. Declares Public Health Emergency
kkcapricorn
by kkcapricorn  4-26-2009
So far, U.S. cases of swine flu have been milder than those seen in Mexico, where the World Health Organization has confirmed that at least 20 people have died from swine flu; health officials are investigating dozens more deaths in Mexico. CDC officials yesterday said they expected more swine flu cases to be reported as public health officials heighten their hunt for the new strain of swine flu virus, which is a mix of swine, human, and bird flu viruses. Countries around the world are watching for the virus, and scientists are scrambling to learn more about the virus and stop it before it becomes a pandemic. An influenza pandemic occurs when a new influenza type A virus emerges for which there is little or no immunity in the human population, begins to cause serious illness, and then spreads easily from person to person worldwide, according to background information from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
