Addons For Firefox - Fireshot - An invaluable web tool.
The Infowarrior
by The Infowarrior  9-20-2009    9
This for me is as invaluable a tool for storing sharing and documenting my journey across the web. It can take screenshots or full web pages in several formats. Often I use it as a sort of read it later type thing when I come across something I just don't have the time to read at that moment. Or for capturing something on screen that cannot be saved or stored otherwise, including many forms of flash graphics. And all from an unobtrusive button like the Clipmarks one or in the context menu and /or tools menu. Try it out, it really is a fun easy to use and powerful tool. All in all I rate it 5/5 as have over a million others.

Looking to Create Custom Soccer Uniforms?
JohnOwens
by JohnOwens  7-25-2009
Do research at online stores to see the logos and print locations for your soccer jerseys. Look for special deals from suppliers who will offer a free number and logo. Most stores offer complete customization and some even ship directly from the factory. This save buyers time and money.

"Australia" The Movie ~ Looks Like A Winner
merrie
by merrie  11-26-2008
Also, the ensembles she wears and accessories she carries are hard not to notice when juxtaposed with the bare, rugged terrain of rural Australia. (In fact, the luxury items are so obvious against this backdrop that they’re almost separate characters in the film — along with Ferragamo, jeweler Canturi and Prada , which made Ms. Kidman’s character’s luggage, received screen credits at the end.)  If they can get the feel correct I'm looking forward to the flexible wireless screen and downloadability of the e-paper. Although I do like the ability to very quickly scan the print newspaper. I don't think that they will be able to truly replicate that experience.

Gene test could 'prevent' heart disease
pokkets
by pokkets  8-29-2008
I believe genetic testing should be an option, not a requirement. That may be a good principle for adults, but the call is for testing to be done on 'at risk' children under 10. I'd be surprised if they could find anyone in the world that wasn't subject to some genetic risk or another. Still, a DNA Database is as good as a chip, or an ID card, and much better than a finger print...but I'm a cynic..or perhaps an optimist with experience.

Woman's Account of Civil War Battle--caring for wounded
blueridge
by blueridge  4-7-2008    5
A very moving account. This southern woman gives an account of caring for the thousands of wounded that day, describing in detail what modern authors cannot even imagine. Historical reality is very awakening and sobering to consider. People wrote with pen then more vividly than modern screen writers. These words of hers bring images from print to mind... The Civil War claimed over 620,000* (*corrected) lives, more than all other U.S. wars combined to present, fighting not merely the Northern States but the Federal government in Washington! The fruits of Yankee-controlled government are now plain to see. People today think little of the reality of war, beyond news and political debates. This moving and touching scene in this woman's account shows it up close and personal. People should consider more what this war was really about if they consider the numbers involved, and that combat was often hand to hand, not bombing from a safe distance or high in the sky.

I.O.U.
sahara
by sahara  2-3-2008    1
Thomas Jefferson lobbied vehemently against the central bank stating it was contrary to the Constitution. In 1826, the second bank's charter was soon to expire and presidential candidate Andrew Jackson campaigned strongly against a central bank, which was owned and operated by the international banking element. Here is Jackson's opinion of those bankers: "You are a den of vipers. I intend to wipe you out, and by the Eternal God I will rout you out...If people only understood the rank injustice of the money and banking system, there would be a revolution by morning." President Kennedy had printed $4 billion worth of non-interest bearing money, which meant he began to chop at the profits of the vultures. Interest free money means the national debt is eliminated and the power of the international banking element is broken. But he was murdered, as we all know. Kennedy wanted to abolish the Fed.
