"If humanity shames itself, it damages its environment", Benedict said. He appealed for "investment in education with the objective not only to transmit technical and scientific concepts, but also a broader and deeper 'ecological responsibility' based on respect for humanity, human rights and fundamental duties". The Pope went on to say, " God be with the days when boys wore hot pants, the public were cowed down and silent and we could get away with murder."

So Illinois is so broke it has prisoners, it has an empty prison, it can't afford to pay to put the inmates in the prison so it releases them and sells out. Hey ya'll remember what state our President was from? Yeah that's right Illinois. Just think, now the nation can benefit from the same leadership that Illinois politicians give their state.

Here doctors refused to take any action to save her life because they said she had drawn up a so called living will in which she had expressed the wish to die and claimed to be '100 per cent aware of the consequences.' It has been reported that, having taken legal advice, the consultant renal physician Dr Alexander Heaton took the view that she was mentally capable of reaching this decision and therefore he had to respect her wishes. He even told an inquest into Miss Wooltorton's death that he feared he might be charged with assault if he tried to intervene. The central principle of the Hippocratic Oath is 'do no harm'. I would argue that, by allowing a patient to commit suicide and taking no steps to prevent her death, a doctor has contravened that oath.
