by doodleicious  Today 1:11 AM    2
this began:many witnessed the arrogance of barbara boxer when she admonished a brigadier general because he addressed her as ma'am and not "senator" before a senate hearing. This letter is from a National Guard aviator and Captain for Alaska Airlines-as they pondered what he might have said if he'd been really angry with her............so.....ma'am that-and take yer lumps babs-

Man, Do I Hate Holiday Travel by iowahawk
merrie
by merrie  Yesterday 9:25 PM    1
Take for example a recent flight I took from Lagos to Detroit. With over 100,000 miles on my JihadAir platinum card, I've schlepped enough miles through Heathrow and Gatwick and Yemen International to know I should be at the airport two hours before departure. Especially during the holiday heavy bombing season. Good thing too, because by the time I got there, there was already a mile long line at the explosives counter. And man, talk about smell! I swear half of these stupid shaheeds hadn't bothered to take a shower, let alone a pre-martyrdom ablution ritual. Come on people, how about a little self respect? And right when I was only two martyrs in line from the counter? Yep, you guessed it. The stupid explosives agents called for a prayer break. To top that, just as I was finishing my last supplication, I get up off the prayer rug and these three friggin' Saudis totally jump the line, and I'm like, "dude, WTF?"

Dating Russian Women- Wife Russian - Why a Russian Wife Should Be Honored and Valued in the West Men in America and abroad have been starving for for decent, good old fashion women and have been complaining about a lack of that in recent times. Most men in America believe that American women have gotten spoiled and selfish in the way that they treat their men. They have become far more materialistic than at any time in American history and they tend to want a guy that will give them a lot of money and gifts and also be a bad boy as far as his image is concerned and how he treats women. This kind of attitude has led many men to look for their potential future wives outside of the states and this leads me to the point of this article. Far more American men have started to venture outside of their comfort zones and outside of their country to look for women of their dreams but where do they find a woman that is kind, caring, educated, communicative and family oriented?

Pope Benedict XVI: we must all go green to save the planet
foxyarse
by foxyarse  Yesterday 2:30 PM    1
Calling for an end to war and in particular the suffering of children, the 82-year-old, German-born pontiff said there was "a close link" between respect for mankind and respect for nature. "If humanity shames itself, it damages its environment", Benedict said. He appealed for "investment in education with the objective not only to transmit technical and scientific concepts, but also a broader and deeper 'ecological responsibility' based on respect for humanity, human rights and fundamental duties". The Pope went on to say, " God be with the days when boys wore hot pants, the public were cowed down and silent and we could get away with murder."

Obama was a fool to think he could actually sit down and talk peace with a government that is bent on always being at odds with the US. Any chance he gets, Ahmadinejad will bad mouth the US. He doesn't have any respect for the US or our world leader pretend, Obama. He knows Obama is weak. Our enemies have always known that if there is Liberal leadership in our Country, we are weak and an easy target. The following link shows that Ahmadinejad will use any anti-government protest in his Country to blame the US for the civil unrest there:

What's Missing in Minnesota is RESPECT
davboz
by davboz   12-29-2009
The insecure Coach Childress just seems to be concerned with being upstaged by some un-heard-of nobody called,...uh...(lemme see here)...Brett Favre. The clip refers to last week when coach wanted to sit Favre but seemed to extend to the Mon.Night game where when Favre finally started to take charge on the field things started to happen. Coach seems indignant and possibly aiming for retribution just to show he's in charge. That's insecurity. That may just spoil one of the greatest comeback seasons of all time. There will have to be some quick & serious growing up, I think mostly on the part of Childress. Show the respect and work together, Mr. Childress. Work WITH Farve. Absolutely forget who has to PROVE their worth and start working to the same goal. Together.

Lessons From John Galt

"Depravity commands respect. Success is cast as evil and punished while failure is blamed on others and rewarded. Rand’s insights into the psychological state of collectivists—those who demand that we sacrifice our individual freedom and happiness for the sake of the state—explain what often seems incomprehensible to thinking people."

Al Qaeda Failed. What About Us?
merrie
by merrie  12-27-2009    3
al Qaeda has tried three separate plots using the same basic technique -- get on a transatlantic flight and blow it up before it lands and before the terrorists are put through our border screening process. Every plot has failed. But if this doesn't remind you of the successive World Trade Center attacks, you're not paying attention. They've got a schtick, and they're going to keep using it until it works. 4. Unfortunately, TSA, the part of DHS that screens air travelers, doesn't use the bigger terrorist databases for screening -- unlike DHS's border officials at CBP. Partly that's because Congress forced DHS to leave traveler screening in the hands of the airlines for the phony privacy reasons described above. But it's also because airline screening, unlike border screening, is not well designed to vary the level of screening depending on the risk a traveler poses. In shorthand, it is trying to find dangerous stuff, not dangerous people .

business leaders, and healthcare professionals, the Senate majority seems intent on cramming this monstrosity down the American people’s throats.” “Under no circumstances did I have anything to do with Senator Nelson’s compromise,” Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman said in a written statement. “The responsibility for this special deal lies solely on the shoulders of Senator Ben Nelson.” Heineman urged Nelson to reconsider his support for the overall health care bill and said his state expects “a fair deal, not a special deal. Governors all across America are troubled by this unfunded Medicaid mandate. If the U.S. Senate plans to address the unfunded mandates issue, all states must receive fair and equal treatment.” (Nebraska governor to Ben Nelson: Kill the bill http://bit.ly/4RZgZp) According to a newspaper reporter, even Senator John McCain called Reid’s deals, “Bernie Madoff gimmicks.” Senator Reid himself admitted he had “taken care of” enough senators when he was quoted

“Don’t think we’re not keeping score, brother,” Obama told DeFazio
merrie
by merrie  12-18-2009    1
Personal calls from Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and former Vice President Al Gore couldn’t persuade him to vote for the Speaker’s climate change bill. He also opposed the $787 billion stimulus, citing concerns that only 7 percent was devoted to infrastructure spending. DeFazio was one of only two Democrats to vote against those measures and the $700 billion bank bailout. (The other was Rep. Gene Taylor (D-Miss.) a Blue Dog conservative.) Yet he’s also a pro-gun Democrat who has a B rating from the National Rifle Association. “I would have less of a voice and I would have less respect if I voted for things I didn’t believe in because of pressure from the leadership,” DeFazio told The Hill in an interview. Obama himself has taken notice. “Don’t think we’re not keeping score, brother,” Obama told DeFazio during a closed-door meeting of the House Democratic Caucus, according to members afterward. But poking a stick at those in power is what DeFazio does.
