Let's see now... we're at war in Iraq and Afghanistan, we're in what looks to be a worse economic implosion than the Great Depression, people are losing jobs and getting foreclosed on right and left, many people have no health insurance, and the ones who do often find it makes no difference, we're seeing climatological forces and disasters getting worse and worse... and the Republicans think that what's important is what the other party is named? More: A Rasmussen poll from earlier this month shows that capitalism only beats socialism 53 percent to 20, and among adults under 30, the split narrows to 37 to 33. Speaking as a member of the first generation of Americans to be told while growing up "your generation WILL do worse than your parents did – just accept it"... yeah, capitalism doesn't seem like such a rousing success.
