POPSWill O' Wisps I got stuck on wikipedia reading about folklore, and I had to make a clip of will o' wisp pictures. Other than the first one, the quality wasn't quite what I wanted, but here it is anyway.

POPSReading List: Inside Obama's Brain by Sasha Abramsky Audiobook downloaded. "Never has the world needed strong and wise American leadership more than it does now. Abramsky's eminently readable description of Obama's personal gifts makes it clear that he is remarkably suited to be the president the moment requires." -Former New York Governor Mario M. Cuomo

POPSYour Brain On Words There is no one brain part which when taken away would suddenly rob you of your ability to read. We rely on the same old brain — the same brain that we inherited from our Homo Sapiens ancestors 200,000 years ago when they appeared in Africa. This means that the same brain that hunted wildlife and walked thru Ice Ages is the same brain that can now read a book a day.

POPSSenator Al Franken Has the Floor Many of us don't watch C-SPAN because we figure watching legislators wrangle over legal fine points is boring. Well. Here's a little taste of what you are missing.

POPS Sarah Rocks on Conan's Reading Duo With William Shatner Earlier this year, I linked to a Palin-friendly interview Andrew Breitbart did on Neil Cavuto. In it, he set Gov. Palin a challenge: Cavuto: "What should she do?" Breitbart: "I think she just continues being Sarah Palin and I think that she needs to go out there and show that she has a fight in her because this is like Rocky Two: Can this person come back from a drubbing?" After the launch of her mega-bestselling autobiography, her whirlwind book tour, her knock 'em dead appearance at the Gridiron dinner, and her awesome head to head with William Shatner on the Tonight Show, I think we can safely say the answer to that question is 'yes'. Or rather: hell yeah! And when I mean connected, I really mean connected. Not just showing a likable personality - funny, smart, willing to have a laugh at her own expense - but connecting at a more basic level; the level which defines what really makes people American. http://bit.ly/8GtMHe
