POPSObama's Critics Are Also in His Administration Those deficits were nothing compared to those provided in Obama's budget. His deficits would last years after the recession is over and in spite of the massive tax increases that promises to accompany them. The Democrats correctly criticized Bush's deficits. Feldstein notes that Obama's deficits, because of its expensive health care agenda will reach $9.3 trillion -- more than twice the amount of the previous administration. In an earlier article in the Washington Post, Feldstein noted that "For the 85 percent of Americans who already have health insurance, the Obama health plan is bad news. It means higher taxes, less health care and no protection if they lose their current insurance because of unemployment or early retirement." Feldstein also notes that the price of the program is enormous and would cost more than $1 trillion and would raise the current maximum tax rate from 35 to 45 percent.

POPSObama Sets Interpol Above US Law
"Interestingly, Interpol's US headquarters is in the Justice Department, run by the same corrupt, pro-terrorist lowlife who quashed an investigation into Black Panther voter intimidation on Obama's behalf. NRO wonders: Why is it suddenly necessary to have, within the Justice Department, a repository for stashing government files which, therefore, will be beyond the ability of Congress, American law-enforcement, the media, and the American people to scrutinize? Interpol works closely with the International Criminal Court, a gang of moonbats who would gladly round up prominent Republicans like Dick Cheney and throw them in jail on charges of insensitivity to terrorists. America has refused to surrender its sovereignty to this ultra-left kangaroo court — a policy Chairman Zero is likely to reverse. In most banana republics, you only have to worry about your own police. But in the dystopia of "Hopey Change," who knows who may soon be dragging you out of bed in the middle of th

POPSShe needs help She says : If you do turn out to be my match, all I will need is some of the stem cells of your blood to be transferred to my body. This still doesn't require surgery, only a little bit of your blood. These past few months of hardship have caused me to reach the end of my rope. I am unsure how much longer I have to live. But what I do know is that the one thing that can save my life is a matching donor. And with someone like you, I am unwilling to lose hope! I desperately need your help and kind support in finding my match.

POPSObama Approves Giving at Least $30 Billion more to Israel The budget also pledges $500 million in American aid to the Fatah Party’s Palestinian Authority. This aid is contingent on certain requirements, including that the group recognize Israel. This funding is distinct from any funding the CIA may give the Palestinian Authority’s security forces, which would be secret. So the money goes from the taxpayer, to Israel and then back into the pockets of the US military industrial complex. What a sweet set up, eh? *Capitalism* at it's finest. They must be laughing all the way to the bank. *LOL* $30 Billion. Cough up, bend over and smile, USA. .:)

POPSWalls and Barriers Around the World Amazing what human folly drives us to do. I'm sure that there are lots of rationales for having them, but the real reason is that we are failing to live up to our much-vaunted sapiency.

POPSHealth Dems drop Medicare option Asked if Reid explicitly dropped the Medicare plan from the larger health reform bill, Sen. Evan Bayh (D-Ind.) responded, "That's what it sounded like to me." The about-face leaves liberals steaming that there will be no government-run program to insure the uninsured, as was widely promised. But it was a major victory for Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.), who expressed his concern the plan could further jeopardize Medicare, a federal program which already faces staggering financial problems. "Put me down tonight as encouraged about the direction these talks are going," Lieberman said after Reid caved. On Sunday, Lieberman said he planned to join Republicans in blocking the Democratic health-care plan if it included the Medicare option. Reid did not explicitly acknowledge or deny that he had buckled to Lieberman in stripping the Medicare provisions.

POPSHoliday Hazards to your Pets
Christmas Trees - These create a whole realm of dangers for your pet. Poorly secured trees can fall on rambunctious pets as the run around or try to climb them. Pine needles can cause GI irritation and perforation. Sharp or breakable ornaments should be kept well out of the way of curious mouths and paws. Christmas trees may contain additives and preservatives, which leech into the water and can be toxic if ingested. Tinsel, yarn and ribbon can cause linear foreign bodies (get wrapped up throughout the intestinal tract) and create a blockage and/or possible perforations. Sweets - Holiday candy can cause GI problems and become toxic once ingested. Chocolate is one of the most common causes of toxic reaction in pets. The darker the chocolate the worse it is. Do not place wrapped boxes of chocolate under the tree- dogs can sniff them out. Also be sure to keep the candy dishes covered so playful paws aren't tempted to fish them out. The holidays make it easier for pets to sneak their

POPSObama Nobel Acceptance Shite
Paleontologists generally trace the arrival of modern man, homo sapiens, back 200,000 years, yet the first authenticated written histories are barely 2,400 years old. How Obama and his speechwriters filled in the 197,600-year gap to prove that the practice of war is as old as mankind and implicitly inseparable from the human condition is a question an enterprising reporter might venture to ask at the next presidential press conference. Perhaps delusions of omniscience is the answer. The Oslo speech is replete with references to and appropriations of the attributes of divinity. And to historical and anthropological fatalism; a deeply pessimistic concept of Providence. Obama affirmed that "no Holy War can ever be a just war. For if you truly believe that you are carrying out divine will, then there is no need for restraint." Then shortly afterward stated "Let us reach for the world that ought to be - that spark of the divine that still stirs within each of our souls." An adversary'
