Without question, Oprah has done tremendous good, touching the lives of millions in a positive way. And for this I salute her. Because she has such a huge heart and compassion, Oprah tends to take the emotional liberal side of issues. However, though well intentioned, ignoring reality and human nature can be extremely destructive. A common theme on Oprah's show is everyone is a victim of somebody or something. All abusers are not the products of abuse. History proves some people are simply evil and some people are lazy losers. And why in almost 25 years of broadcasting have we not seen one conservative, "I am not a victim of white America" black guest on the Oprah show? This is a huge disservice to black America. We blacks, I am black, are blessed to be born in the greatest land of opportunity on the planet. And yet, liberal icons are still filling the heads of black youths that they are victims of a sexist, racist and homophobic America.

POPSSOMEONE NEEDS A TELEPROMPTER!!! I approached (AUDIO) Senator Whitehouse following his speech on the floor, and his responses to my questions were puzzling, to say the say the least. Mr. Whitehouse said he stood by his speech, but would not admit that he was accusing anyone who was against the health care bill as racist. He did reiterate that birthers are part of the group that is against the bill and are attacking president However, when I asked the Senator from Rhode Island what he meant by describing those who do not support the bill as "aryan," he responded "No, I didn't say that....again, pay attention to the speech." According to the transcript above, Mr. Whitehouse did say what he seems to be denying. Perhaps he should pay more attention to what he says on the floor.

James Rucker, of Colorofchange.org said that he sent information on Beck that influenced HBC's decision and that the Choir had no idea that Beck is considered racist. No matter the reason, Beck's attempt to exploit a distinguished African-American group to shield his racism has been thwarted. What an Xmas scam. :LOL: Perhaps the Mormon Choir will fill-in? POPSThe hate around Sarah This isn't the first article to discuss the hatred and racism that seemed to surround Sarah Palin during the campaign. I don't know if this reflects Palin's ideas or not, and to be honest it isn't clear how much she is aware of it - at least while it is happening. However, while this article like others before overstates the connection between Palin and this hate, it does make a point. If she was never aware of it, she is surrounded by enabler that shouldn't be trusted and must be extremely ego-centric. However, if she did know about it, she had a moral responsibility to speak against it. It should be remembered that John McCain spoke against the hate when he became aware of it.
