POPS Honda HSV-10 GT ready to race in SuperGT PRESS RELEASE Honda to compete in GT500 class of 2010 Super GT Series with HSV-010 GT December 22, 2009―Honda Motor Co., Ltd. announced today that it will compete in the GT500 class of the 2010 Super GT Series (managed and run by GTA Co., Ltd.) with its HSV-010 GT. The HSV-010 GT was developed exclusively for racing with the hope of offering thrills and dreams to fans through an unremitting focus on speed-the starting point of all motorsports. The model conforms to the 2010 GT500 Regulations, (including a 3.4-liter V8 engine and an FR layout) issued by the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF), having earned JAF-GT500 basic vehicle registration. If you are training for a marathon on roads, the treadmill or a soft track will not prepare your body for the pounding… * After the race, and you are urinating normally…you may take (e.g., aspirin or ibuprofen) unless your doctor has told you that you cannot due to a contraindication. * Most important: Immediately upon returning home or to your hotel post-race, soak your feet for 15 minutes in an ice bath. This is the best way to avoid this middle-of-the-night pain. Now, if you have pain the Monday after the event, 15-minute ice baths three times a day and may be necessary for two days to ease the inflammation. If you feel bony tenderness, see a doctor sooner than later -- what you have may not be "marathon feet" but rather a stress or full fracture of a bone in your foot.

Beyond Iran, Lavrov said U.S. and Russia negotiators have made “considerable” progress toward reaching agreement on a new strategic arms treaty. The 1991 Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty, or START, expires in December and negotiators have been racing to reach agreement on a successor. The two diplomats also discussed possible cooperation on missile defense following Obama’s decision not to proceed with Bush-administration plans to base such a system in eastern Europe. Russia has welcomed Obama’s new approach, but has said it was eager for more detailed information. Clinton said the U.S. would be as transparent as possible. “We want to ensure that every question that the Russian military or Russian government asks is answered,” she said, calling missile defense “another area for deep cooperation between our countries.”

POPSJust Like in the Movies: Car Flies Into House The only individual home in the house was asleep on the couch and was not injured. The passenger was able to walk away from the wreck as well without injury. Only the driver was physically injured with small injuries to report. It is by far the home that has suffered the worst from the ordeal. With a gaping hole torn all the way down the front of the house, the house will be sorely out of commission for some time. Images of the scene show scraps of wood surrounding the Jeep as it sits nicely in the foyer. Art still hangs on the wall along the interior clearly visible from the street. The large home is almost ripped in half by the vehicle.
