POPSChemical BPA in workers linked to sex problems I cannot imaging how this hazard can be eliminated from our life. It is everywhere. Look around. Clear plastic bottles or cans made from polycarbonate with bisphenol A leashing into product it contain. Before it was fragile, but chemically stable, indifferent glass. Can we afford to pay with our health (and lives, after all) for this fruit of chemical progress? It damaging everything inside a body, it's just happen to discover some of its symptoms. What was impossible to suppress already... :cool:

POPSUgly Korean Fire Authorities 소화기가 왜 튼튼해야 하나요? 폴리카보네이트(Engineering Plastic)로 투명하게 얼마든지 만들 수 있걸랑요! 요즈음 자동차 부품 및 맥주 마시는 잔 등 포도주 와인 잔 등도 폴리카보네이트 엔지니어링 플라스틱(Metal-Iron or Aluminum-을 대체하는 비행기 창문, 이소연이가 우주에 갈 때 뒤집어 쓴 우주 헬멨, 그리고 속 보이는/창 달린 소화기-조용백이가 만들고 있는-등에 창에 쓰이고 있는-이거 본인의 특허 내지 실용 신안 특허에 위반되는데 그냥 내 버려 둔다, 현재는-투명 플라스틱이고, 쇠 만큼 강하고 내장 압력을 아주 훌륭히 견디고도 남고, 제조 생산 가격도 쇠/알미늄 보다 훨씬 저렴하고, 안이 전체로 들여가 보여서 더 좋은)으로 얼마든지 저렴하고, 미덥지 않은 국산 소화기에 현재 달려 있는 압력 게이지 보다, 눈으로 직접 안에 들어 있는 소화 약제를 확인할 수 있읍니다. 축압식 소화기는 흔들어 줘야 된다는 미신을 버려야(옜날 가압식 분말 소화그는 생산 된지 20년이 이제 지났고, 이 녀셕은 흔들어 줘야 하는데, 이제는 소용 없어요..축압식 소화기를 매달 한번씩 흔들어 줘야 한다는 소방서 아찌들이 제발 소한 민국에 불 나기 만을 기다리고 있는 핸실입니다,,,, 불이 나야 자기들 밥 줄이 안 떨어 지니까, 엉터리로 가르켜 주고 있으며, 한국 소방 안전 기술원의 충약 업자 단속에 대한 직무 유기로 그동안 소한 민국 내 모든 소화기를 뼁끼만 칠하여 공갈 협박으로 소화기 충약 업자를 묵인/방관하는 직무 유기를 행하고 있으며, 가난한 소화기 메이커 들만 검정한다고 엉터리 검정(청원 소방 엉터리 분말 사건)을 일삼고 있으니 제발 스스로 자진 해체하기를 본 대한 소방 공사 대표는 간곡히 당부 드리는 바 입니다, 왜 이번에는 본인의 글을 빨리 안 지우는지 상당히 궁금하군요!

The plastics industry says it is harmless, but a growing number of scientists are concluding, from some animal tests, that exposure to BPA in the womb raises the risk of certain cancers, hampers fertility and could contribute to childhood behavioral problems such as hyperactivity.

It came into widespread use in the 1950s when scientists realized it could be used to make polycarbonate plastic and some epoxy resins to line food and beverage cans." About 5-10 million people were exposed to the synthetic estrogen DES between 1938-1971, and the health of so-called "DES Daughters" is still being followed due to their increased risk for vaginal and cervical cancer, reproductive tract structural differences, pregnancy complications, and infertility.

The value of BPA-based manufactured goods, from cell phones and computers to epoxy coatings and dental bindings, is probably incalculable. Thoughscientists have known since the 1930s that BPA mimics estrogen in the body , for unrelated reasons, the chemical serves as an essential building block of hard, clear polycarbonate plastics and tough epoxy resins, ubiquitous materials in the modern world. "It's probably the largest volume endocrine-disrupting chemical in commerce," says Vom Saal. "This stuff is in everything." Because plastics made with BPA break down easily when heated, microwaved, washed with strong detergents or wrapped around acidic foods like tomatoes, trace amounts of the potent hormone leach into food from epoxy lacquer can linings, polycarbonate bottles and other plastic food packaging.
