POPSFlu zombies reported in Mexico City The flu zombies first appeared saturday night as the city sewer system failed and manhole covers were seen being shoved aside. The 'walking dead' have been impossible to negotiate with simply because they're dead, but Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has sent a forward team to attempt negotiations as early as Wednesday. Sporadic gunfire could be head as Mexico's Head of National Security urged people in a televised address 'to remain calm and eat an enchillata.' Attempts to bribe the zombies reportedly failed when Treasury Secretary Juan Corona attempted to meet with the zombies and was promptly eaten.

POPSTexas military shooter a Muslim convert As a group of soldiers were preparing to be deployed to Iraq from Fort Hood in a special commissioning ceremony today, the officer opened fire killing 12 follow soldiers and injuring 32 others. A local police officer who was on contract with the military to provide law enforcement at the base shot and killed the suspect. At least 2 others involved in the shooting have been apprehended. It is unclear as to the level of involvement of the 2 or whether or not other suspects are at large.

When Obama runs into brick walls, he seems to reflexively go into a state of rage. The same thing will happen to Obama if and when he loses the election in 2012. Since narcissists in power keep people around them in a constant state of fear -- everybody gets targeted and feels insecure -- you can expect a ton of dirty tricks in elections to come. But then Democrats constantly use dirty tricks. I fear two things with Obama. One is if the GOP fails to elect a House majority in 2010 to keep Obama within the bounds of sanity. A GOP majority is essential for the safety of the country and the world. But even if Obama is defeated in 2012, he will just turn into an angrier version of Al Gore and Jimmy Carter. He will haunt the political future of this country as long as he is alive, because that famished ego never gets enough. Malignant narcissism often gets worse over time. This is one of the most appalling clips I have posted and I was even hesitant in posting it but people have got to be aware of this kind of crime and what happens right here in this country. The clip is not only appalling but the actions of the people that witnessed the rape are as guilty as the people who committed the crime. I just don't understand that not even one person would not come to the aid of this poor girl. I fear that poor girl will never recover to any state of normalcy after what has happened to her. Capital punishment has been abolished in most western democracies, and after it was eliminated in the US state of New Jersey in 2007, the state saw its murder rate decline. Dieter cites a poll of 500 local police chiefs, which was paid for by the DPIC and released on Tuesday, showing support for ending capital punishment. The survey found that the police chiefs see the death penalty as the least effective tool in deterring crime. They suggest more efficient use of resources -- such as boosting funding for drug and alcohol abuse programs.

But investigators' attention shifted when Mr Lewis's stolen pistol was traced to John "Monk" Stevenson, a small-time criminal who said he had been given the gun by Bart Davis's brother. He claimed he was only a lookout when Lewis was killed. However, in a plea deal that spared his life, Stevenson – who was also black – changed his story and named the Griffin brothers as the killers and testified against them. According to sworn statements from fellow inmates, Stevenson admitted in jail that the men he implicated knew nothing of the crime. He said that the Griffins "could afford a lawyer and beat the rap". The brothers were the owners of a 138-acre farm, making them probably the wealthiest blacks in the area. All of the land was sold to pay their legal fees and court costs.

He was elected to his first term last year as a Republican, promising to jumpstart the economy, but so far, job losses and negative growth have continued, punishing the island with its fourth year of recession. Governor Fortuño has said repeatedly that he did not want layoffs, but had no choice. In interviews on radio and television on Thursday, he said that it was the only way to avoid a government shutdown because of the territory’s $3.2 billion deficit. “There was no alternative,” Mr. Fortuño said. “And there is no turning back.” ----- Which I can tell you is an total lie.
