POPSFighting For The Welfare State This makes me really proud to be Danish. Anyway, why ARE we so happy? Well... we all know how we are all are in the grip of the worldwide economic crisis at the moment, right? Well, despite this, a huge number of Danes are now calling for the government to please let us pay more taxes! "Please raise taxes, so we can afford more!". :p .Now... I know this might seem odd and counter-intuitive to some, but please lend me your ear and I'll try to explain.... :) In a society like for example the US, where Wall Street reigns supreme and the gap between rich and poor just grows every day, how can it be expected that there is anything in it all, for the little guy? Capitalism is all good and fine, but money shouldn't be the goal, but merely the means. It's not about how much you have, but how much you give.

POPSIreland to Hold Second Referendum on Lisbon Treaty Please reject the treaty, Ireland! Please, please please! They need this treaty to move ahead with their Big Brother / authoritarian plans for the EU. Just say NO!! The Lisbon Treaty, currently stalled after Ireland's referendum rejection last year, creates a secretive new Standing Committee for Internal Security, known as COSI, to co-ordinate policy between national forces and EU organisations such as Europol, the Frontex borders agency, the European Gendarmerie Force and the Brussels intelligence sharing Joint Situation Centre or Sitcen. Don’t expect the Rathke’s to get hurt. “Socialist” please! Here is what an ACORN spokesperson had to say: ACORN chief organizer Bertha Lewis would not defend the employees in the video, but insists that the videos “are doctored, edited, and in no way the result of the fabricated story being portrayed by conservative activist ‘filmmaker’ O’Keefe and his partner in crime.” What Bertha should have admitted is that the black women in thesse videos have been “doctored” and “edited,” and that the doctoring and editing has been done systematically by the Democrat Party. These women are the product of the Democrats “seek and destroy” mission within the black community. The outcome is a moral relativity that has these black women willing to put criminals in American communities, under the guise of “the greater good.”
