Let's Wake Up and Make A Difference in 2010!

We know it is false and just a pathetic excuse to seize control of us. We must track these efforts and have a zero tolerance policy for these efforts. The other Government control battle in our face the next few months is the communist and anti constitutional health care bill congress and this President are planning to cram down our parched throats. Second weapon used against us Radical Islam Islam has always wanted control of the world. Financed and radical groups since the 1920s have taught, preached and pursued a worldwide Caliphate of control. Their taught and known methods of doing this include silent and violent jihad world wide. The fundamentalists study and know our sensitive, our legal loopholes and ways to intimidate and scare us. Only on Christmas we saw the latest horror show on flight 253 by a wanna be Islamic martyr from Nigeria. It was a miracle the plane didn’t blow up. The organized Islamic terrorist groups are like body parts of the mother alien and ...

what people's dreams were like before the cinema was invented ?? ..

"The state of cinema IS a dream state. No known address. Occupied, dictated, created by no one. When it comes to moving goal posts, what art form could be described as more flexible than film?" "It was in Tarkovsky's Stalker that I saw an image of a dream that I have been visited by all my life made real (Does a thing have to be shared to be made real?). A bird flying towards the camera dips its wing into the sand that fills a room. Did I imagine this?" Each year, the Film Society invites one of the leaders in cinema to address the issues facing the film world today. In 2006, the State of Cinema address was delivered by the stunning, eloquent and provocative Tilda Swinton. given on Sunday, April 29, 2006 at the Sundance Kabuki Cinemas. warmly recommended 2 read it all !!

Sarah Palin, Man of the Year
jatfla
by jatfla  Yesterday 9:17 PM
She can be "Woman of the Year"...no harm. The article does justice to her impact on the conservatives who are still hopeful to maintain our Country. Many others are rising up to join her as we attempt to thwart the progress of PC, Socialism, and apathy. The article is balanced; not brushing over the questions. I hope that 2010 will be a year of cleaning house and elevating our *traditional* values, American productivity, humanitarianism, majority rule, and attacking corruption wherever it is found...all to begin afresh.

Man, Do I Hate Holiday Travel by iowahawk

by merrie  Yesterday 9:25 PM    1
Take for example a recent flight I took from Lagos to Detroit. With over 100,000 miles on my JihadAir platinum card, I've schlepped enough miles through Heathrow and Gatwick and Yemen International to know I should be at the airport two hours before departure. Especially during the holiday heavy bombing season. Good thing too, because by the time I got there, there was already a mile long line at the explosives counter. And man, talk about smell! I swear half of these stupid shaheeds hadn't bothered to take a shower, let alone a pre-martyrdom ablution ritual. Come on people, how about a little self respect? And right when I was only two martyrs in line from the counter? Yep, you guessed it. The stupid explosives agents called for a prayer break. To top that, just as I was finishing my last supplication, I get up off the prayer rug and these three friggin' Saudis totally jump the line, and I'm like, "dude, WTF?"

Obama Takes Break From Vacation To Let Us Know He Won't Rest!
merrie
by merrie  12-31-2009
in the bathroom of a Detroit-bound Northwest Airlines flight on Sunday. Several police vehicles and a police command unit have surrounded a plane at Detroit’s Metro Airport, after the pilot of a Detroit-bound Northwest Airlines flight requested emergency help. Two sources tell Fox News that the suspect boarded a plan in Lagos with no baggage, and said the FBI has already sent an email alert to other federal agencies notifying them of the incident. The source said the man taken into custody at the Detroit airport was a Nigerian man in his 30s. Federal officials know who the suspect is, but won’t provide any more details. He allegedly barricaded himself in the plane’s bathroom for an hour. There are some reports suggesting that the Nigerian man may have just been a sick passenger. Why the hell would anyone travel international so light? No luggage should have been the first red flag. http://deadenders.wordpress.com/

Barack Obama Gets An ‘F’ for Protecting Americans
merrie
by merrie  12-30-2009    3
In his studied desire to be the unBush by responding coolly to events like this, Obama is dangerously close to failing as a leader. Yes, it is good not to shoot from the hip and make broad assertions without the facts. But Obama took three days before speaking to the American people, emerging on Monday in between golf and tennis games in Hawaii to deliver a rather tepid address that significantly underplayed what happened. He described Abdulmutallab as an “isolated extremist” who “allegedly tried to ignite an explosive device on his body” " phrases that indicate a legalistic, downplaying approach that alarms rather than reassures. Today’s words showed a lot more fire and desire to get on top of things " we’ll see whether Obama follows through with action. In the meantime, he went snorkelling. There has been a pattern developing with the Obama administration trying to minimise terrorist attacks. We saw it with Abdul Hakim Mujahid Muhammad, a Muslim convert who murdered

Does this make anyone else just gag?!! What they call 'scoring points' I call sounding the alarm. And as far as putting "country before political party" concerning national security...that's just an outright lie and to suggest that we need to "learn from this episode" is the height of idiocy. Conservatives have looooong been aware of the ongoing and dangerous advancement of radical Muslim jihadists; we learned it already! How about the DCCC stop with the rhetoric and join the fight.

BREAKING: US Intel Had Info Ahead of Airliner Attack
merrie
by merrie  12-30-2009    2
"The warning signs would have triggered red flags, and the suspect would have never been allowed to board that plane for America." Officials said Obama chose to make a second statement in as many days because a morning briefing offered him new information in the government's possession about the suspect's activities and thinking, along with al-Qaida's plans. Obama's statement showed more fire than he had shown previously about the lapses that allowed the bombing attack to take place and came after his homeland security secretary, Janet Napolitano, had to backtrack on an assertion that "the system worked" in the Detroit airliner scare. Some have criticized Obama for not addressing the issue publicly sooner. An angered Obama called the shortcomings "totally unacceptable" and told reporters traveling with him on vacation here that he wanted a preliminary report by Thursday on what went wrong on Christmas Day, when the suspect carried explosives onto a flight from Amsterdam

Dear Secretary Napolitano: Can you tell me how "the system worked"?

More: Fact: Abdulmutallab boarded Flight KL 588 on Dec 24th with an incendiary device in Lagos, Nigeria - Fact: Abdulmutallab boarded Flight NW 253 on Dec 25th with an incendiary device in Amsterdam, Netherlands - Fact: There was no Federal Air Marshal on board NW253. …My questions regarding Secretary Napolitano’s view that the system worked will probably never be answered, however every time I watch her be interviewed for the past few days I have to wonder what she is thinking dolling out the company line than the system is working. How many red-flags does one need to get secondary screening? How many red-flags does one need to be placed on a no-fly list? I’d think that being on a terrorist watch list; applying for a bogus Visa to the UK; and your father walking into the US Embassy and telling them that his son may carry out a terrorist attack on the US should all be red-flags…but what do I know…The System Worked Happy Flying!

Perhaps most significantly, the non-igniting of the homemade device has "rejuvenated debate ... over the proper balance between security and privacy," the New York Times informs us -- while quoting several "experts" who let us know just which way this "balance" is now going to tilt. These "experts" include Bush retreads like ex-Homeland Security commissar Michael Chertoff, who now dabbles profitably in the "risk management and security consulting" industry -- yet another of our great and good for whom every act of terror (real or imagined, successful or unsuccessful) means boffo box office

Pilots warns against knee-jerk reaction to terrorism
jatfla
by jatfla  12-27-2009
Well, what an amazing article! Pilots are concerned about 'knee-jerk reactions"? I would think they would be among the first to take this continuing AND accelerating tactic more seriously. Of course, they don't want the flying-public to be frightened away from flying for many reasons; especially financial. He speaks of "heightened security measures"...how about implementing those that are already in place? And most revolting is when this person asks the idiotic question concerning what the flying-public should expect from it's security workers!!!! "Minimal wages" are an excuse for sloppy, inefficient, lack, non-existent, irresponsible work performance??!!! Amazing.

Accused Northwest Bomber Says More Bombers On the Way

by merrie  12-28-2009    1
A Michigan man who was aboard Northwest Airlines Flight 253 says he witnessed Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab trying to board the plane in Amsterdam without a passport. Kurt Haskell of Newport, Mich., who posted an earlier comment about his experience, talked exclusively with MLive.com and confirmed he was on the flight by sending a picture of his boarding pass. He and his wife, Lori, were returning from a safari in Uganda when they boarded the NWA flight on Friday. Haskell said he and his wife were sitting on the ground near their boarding gate in Amsterdam, which is when they saw Mutallab approach the gate with an unidentified man. While Mutallab was poorly dressed, his friend was dressed in an expensive suit, Haskell said. He says the suited man asked ticket agents whether Mutallab could board without a passport. “The guy said, 'He's from Sudan and we do this all the time.'” Mutallab is Nigerian. Haskell believes the man may have been trying to garner sympathy for

Probably even fewer think it's fair that they have to take off their shoes, endure delays and madness while a known Islamic radical " turned in by his own father " can waltz onto a plane (and into the country). DHS had no role whatsoever in assuring that this bomb didn't go off. By her logic if the bomb had gone off, the system would have "worked" since it has done everything right. Napolitano has a habit of arguing that DHS is a first responder outfit. Its mission is to deal with "man-caused-disasters" after they occur. It appears she really believes it. If the White House wants to assure people that it takes the war on terror seriously (a term Robert Gibbs used this morning by the way), they could start by firing this patently unqualified hack. Director of Homeland Security Napolitano is on the case...."Gird Your Loins"

DHS Sec.Napolitano: "The System Worked" on Attempted Al-Qaeda Plane Bombing
merrie
by merrie  12-27-2009    2
For the first three months of this administration, they refused to use the word terrorism." Per Napolitano, "the system worked" (see the video, also at peekurl.com/vjvx1c2). Let's Roll 2 by Mark Steyn On December 25th 2009, the government's (post-9/11) security procedures all failed, and the only good news came once again from alert individuals: (Jasper) Schuringa, sitting in seat 20J, in the right-most section of the Airbus 330, looked to his left. "I saw smoke rising from a seat ... I didn’t hesitate. I just jumped," he said. "I searched on his body parts and he had his pants open. He had something strapped to his legs." The unassuming hero ripped the flaming, molten object " which resembled a small, white shampoo bottle " off Abdul Mutallab’s left leg, near his crotch. He said he put out the fire with his bare hands. Schuringa yelled for water, and members of the flight crew soon appeared with fire extinguishers.

If the facts remain broadly as outlined, this incident has serious implications for airline travel: A man is on the no-fly list but is allowed to board the plane. Everyone flying on an inbound long-haul flight to the United States is forced to hand over excessively large amounts of liquids and gels and put the small amounts permitted into separate plastic bags, yet the no-fly guy's material for bomb-making sails through undetected. This time the last line of defense worked. Next time, the paradise-seeking jihadist might get lucky and find himself sitting next to, say, Charlie Sheen, too immersed in a lengthy treatise on how 9/11 was an inside job to notice the smoldering socks in the next seat; or to the same kind of nothing-to-see-here crowd who thought Major Hasan's e-mails were "consistent with his research interests". Three years in the making, it's every boy's dream...

The undercarriage retracts and the controls work, although the levers are so small they have to be operated with a pair of tweezers. Young C Park, from Honolulu, took three years and 6,000 hours to complete the model. Cut away on the left side to show the internal workings, all the sections were machined from common aluminium roof flashing. The metal is annealed to the proper softness, making it easier to form and carve. Mr Park, 77, used more than 50ft of aluminium, reforming and shaping it on a lathe until he was happy with the result. The metal was usually moulded over a wooden support, but for the large area of the skin behind the cockpit he used the ball of his foot to get the correct shape. Also today, the Venezuelan government released it’s latest list of Venezuelans who are ineligible to run for public office - including two former governors who opposed Chavez during their tenures. Meanwhile, oil production and manufacturing continue to fall. A national police force will probably fix all of that - well, it’ll at least fix dissent."
