POPSThe Nature of Nature How nature gained its positive connotation is a mystery. This unnatural understanding of nature likely developed during the 20th century, when human interventions — vaccines, food fortification, water chlorination — led people to forget how much nature sucked.

POPSFive Ways to Transform Your Partner Into Your Perfect Mate Therapist Terrence Real's five winning strategies that will rescue even the most unsalvageable relationships. There's at least one way men and women are completely alike: Both believe that a good relationship must be spontaneous. If you have to work at it, that's proof something is wrong. POPSOn looks and attraction... This new research identifies an explanation for the correlation between bodily shape and attractiveness: your body proportions, shape and stature are signals that conspicuously advertise your good development or health and therefore the degree to which you are a desirable reproductive partner. In many species fewer departures from perfect symmetry are associated with good development, health and reproductive success.” We begin to see that there is a program embedded deep in our perception. this is the time to reveal it. :)

POPSHypothetical Scenario: Love and Death My view is to take it and run. IMO it is better to have and love someone even for a short time then living without love. POPSUMWA President Rebukes McCain
Despite what the McCain campaign and some far right-wing blogs would have Americans believe, Sen. Obama has been and remains a tremendous supporter of coal and the future of coal. “I noted that Sen. McCain even went so far yesterday as to say he has always been a supporter of coal. I wonder, then, how he can justify his statement at a Senate hearing in 2000 that, ‘In a perfect world we would like to transition away from coal entirely,’ and his leading role in sponsoring legislation in 2003 that would have wiped out 78 percent of all coal production in America? “Fortunately, UMWA members, their families and their friends and neighbors in the coalfields know all too well what is going on here. They’re not going to fall for it, and we urge others throughout America who care about coal to review what the candidates’ records on coal actually are. We are confident that once they do, and once they see the many other benefits to working families of voting for Sen. Obama, they will make t

POPSDali, Disney, Destino Walt Disney found an unexpected artistic soul mate in Salvador Dali, who he may have met as early as 1937. "We have to keep breaking new trails," Disney said at the time. "Ordinarily good story ideas don't come easily and have to be fought for. Dali is communicative. He bubbles with ideas. "Fifty-seven years later, the brainchild of Dali and Disney was finally born. "Destino" is, according to the curator of the Gala-Salvador Dali Foundation, "the perfect combination of Dali and Disney". An August 2008 Disney press release stated Destino is now due for a 2010 DVD release and "will be available to own for the first time along with an all-new feature-length documentary that examines the surprising partnership between Dali and Disney."

POPSThe Editors of National Review on the Pick We hope that the choice of Palin also signals a decisive turn toward a campaign theme of fighting for the middle class. McCain and Palin can and should say that they will fight to protect Americans from our foreign enemies, to stop liberal excesses, and to reform dysfunctional institutions. They should not accept the portrait of middle-class Americans as hapless victims that so many of the Democratic speakers this week portrayed; but they need to show that they share middle-class frustrations. Strength in foreign policy; reforms of taxes and health care geared to the middle class; and a moderate social conservatism: It’s a potentially winning message, and now Republicans have a ticket that is suited to it.

POPSHappy? "Economic gains that bring more food, clothing, shelter, medical care and longer life can result in a substantial increase in subjective well-being for poor societies, he says. But once a society reaches a certain threshold, further economic growth brings only minimal gains. Among the richest societies, increases in income are only weakly linked with higher levels of subjective well-being. While economic growth helps promote happiness for some, democratization and rising social tolerance contribute even more. Democracy provides more choice, which promotes happiness. Support for gender equality and tolerance of people who are different from oneself are also strongly linked, not just because tolerant people are happier, but because living in a tolerant society enhances everyone's freedom, Inglehart says."

POPSYes, Kids Belong in Pubs After all, initiating your children into the ritual of popping to the pub for a drink and a packet of crisps is a lovely way to carry on the pub-going tradition. I totally disagree! Go to a café instead! There are many things in this world that are restricted to adults. Drinking, driving, sex, etc. Should we maybe let kids get behind the wheel of a car, because it's the perfect way to introduce them to road safety? Or drag them to strip joints to educate them in finer points of the human anatomy? I think not. Keep kids out of pubs and let us have our beer in peace! Is nothing sacred anymore? I'd like to suggest we also ban... Australians, because they can get pretty trolleyed and start calling everyone "mate". Now stop right there! Seeing that Aussies in pubs, are probably what has saved the world economy from TOTALLY collapsing, I suggest you drop your racism, Pom! .. . Clip Tube
