POPSBeautiful Man "He looks like a damned handsome man to me. You can't keep character from shining through, his is luminescent, any more than you can fake what's not there" (from post)

POPSFriesian Horses Friesians are one (#1, in my opinion) of the most magical and beautiful breeds of horse. If I had enough money, time energy, etc..., I would have 50 of them with plenty of beaches and forests and pastures and hills for them to run and play all day. And, I'd spend all of my time painting pictures and taking photos and movies of them to share with you!

POPSMore Fox News Lies I actually watched the episode in question and David did not urinate on the Jesus painting. The painting, which was placed adjacent to the toilet, received a splash of water/urine while David was urinating into the toilet. There is a vast difference between what was reported and what occurred. I included some comments by the "outraged" Christians who commented on this "story". Fox "News" accomplished their purpose by infuriating their gullible viewers. I feel piety for people like this who are being led around by the nose.

POPSOne Nation Under God This is not a Republican painting. This is not anything other than one artist's personal feelings about his love for Christ, this country and a desire to make a point about where we are headed. Our government has grown so big and powerful that the rights of the individual are at risk. This is what the Constitution was about—to limit the size of government. The patriotic heroes who stand behind Christ and the Constitution are pleading with us to defend the cause of liberty. Many of these people symbolize those who have pushed our country towards Socialism. The author states: “I hoped that this painting would encourage dialogue and debate”. For more info on the painting and the authors resoning behind the painting, including an interactive ability to point to each person to see their name, go to the website.

POPSAmazing Rice Terraces Upon seeing these stunning images of rice terraces in Southeast Asia and China, one could think that rice is actually only the byproduct of a bigger project: landscape art. The technique of rice farming and the work today is done pretty much the way it was millennia ago – one reason why most of the amazing rice terraces are still intact. Rice farming is also backbreaking work, as most of the narrow paddies can only be farmed by hand, like they were millennia ago. No wonder then that the younger generation is more drawn to jobs in the hospitality industry, or moves away...
