POPS10 Deadliest Sea Creatures "Before we continue, a nod to venerable contenders that aren't on the list: killer whales (there are few confirmed attacks, accept by those in captivity), octopuses (yes, they've been known to attack), sea cucumbers (who'da thunk?) and piranhas (which actually live only in freshwater, and whose deadly attacks on people are pure myth)." POPSThe abusive "ex-gay" movement I tried to become an "ex-gay" for twenty years. I tried it all. It didn't work. And it wasn't for lack of repentance, lack of sincerity, or lack of effort! You can't change your orientation! You may be able to control your behavior, but it is at great cost ... shame, self-hate, depression ... too high of a cost for some ideology that says loving someone of the same sex is sin...

POPSArmy Orders Pain Ray Trucks; New Report Shows 'Potential for Death'
"Dr. Altmann describes the Active Denial beam in some detail, noting that it will not be completely uniform; anyone unlucky enough to be caught in the center will experience more heating than someone at the edge. And perhaps more significant is his thorough analysis of the heating it produces -- and the cumulative effect if the target does not have the chance to cool down between exposures. In U.S. military tests, a fifteen-second delay between exposures was strictly observed; this may not happen when the ADS is used for real. "As a consequence, the ADS provides the technical possibility to produce burns of second and third degree. Because the beam of diameter 2 m and above is wider than human size, such burns would occur over considerable parts of the body, up to 50% of its surface. Second- and third-degree burns covering more than 20% of the body surface are potentially life-threatening – due to toxic tissue-decay products and increased sensitivity to infection – and require i

POPSCoke's no joke, says cancer research report Return the cocaine to the Coke and you have a pain killer to cope with the cancer. Considering it's history of holding people in contempt, Coca Cola will be unable to fight this on facts, just bullshit.

POPSNatural Remedies Travel Kit Just a few of the many 'drugs' that Big Pharma objects to the public even having knowledge of. I'd like to see what the FDA has to say about these natural remedies. I have used several of these natural gifts and would recomend any of them over what a pharmaceutical company comes up with.

POPSArmy Orders Pain Ray Trucks Can anyone else see that law enforcement would love to have these on our streets? This could be a precursor to a vaporization weapon. In the meantime, scientist are working on a handheld short range weapon for law enforcement officials. Potential for abuse is expected to be very high. We have already seen the damage that ‘non lethal’ stun guns do in the hands of over-zealous police officers.

POPSWoman's Health: Ovarian Cancer - xxxx news? “The statement is a move in the right direction. Its chief contribution might be to improve communication between women and their doctors. To maximise its chance of success, it ought to be combined with other efforts, especially increased funding for ovarian cancer research, which has been declining for the past several years; large prospective trials of early detection methods; ongoing education and awareness campaigns for the public and professionals; and development of standardised diagnostic algorithms for the disease.”
