POPSIsrael admits to organ thefts Ethics among Israeli doctors seems to have slipped. One could draw similarities from history that have been viewed badly. Considering the effort they put into belief of an afterlife, it seems a little hypocritical desecration is ok.

POPSSea Organ Thanks to the Sea Organ music project, the inhabitants of Zadar have been restored once more to their relation with the sea. Chaotic reconstruction work undertaken in an attempt to repair the devastation Zadar suffered in the World War II turned much of the sea front into an unbroken, monotonous concrete wall. Now, the inviting white marble steps lead down to the water. Concealed under these steps, which both protect and invite, is a system of polyethylene tubes and a resonating cavity that turns the site into a huge musical instrument, played by the wind and the sea.

POPSUkrainian kids, new victims of Israeli ‘organ theft’
A story, published in the Arabic-language Algerian daily al-Khabar in September, reported that Interpol, the international police organization, has revealed the existence of ‘a Jewish gang’ that was ‘involved in the abduction of children from Algeria and trafficking of their organs.’ According to the story, bands of Moroccans and Algerians had been roaming the streets of Algerian cities in an attempt to hunt around for young children. They then trafficked the kids across the border into the neighboring Morocco. The children were then sold to Israelis and American Jews in Oujda, the capital of eastern Morocco, for the purpose of organ harvest in Israel and the United States. The story is based on statements made by Mustafa Khayatti, head of the Algerian National Committee for the Development of Health Research. Khayatti maintains that the abduction of children in Algeria is linked to arrests made in New York and New Jersey at the end of July, in which several Jewish men were am

POPSWhite House: Despite Research Dispute, 'Climate Change is Happening' Not only has the White House faced criticism from the left for offering too few concessions ahead of the meet, it is now fielding dissatisfaction from the right for participating in a summit sponsored in part by the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) — one of the research organs touched by the CRU spat. “I think there’s no real scientific basis for the dispute of this,” responded Gibbs to questions about those scientists’ credibility. Nevertheless, congressional Republicans this week hope to ramp up their criticism of both global warming policy and the science that informs it. Most vocal seems to be Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), the ranking member of the Environment and Public Works Committee. Inhofe demanded on Friday a hearing into the IPCC’s research to determine whether it “cooked the science to make this thing look as if the science was settled, when all the time of course we knew it was not.”

POPS7 Things That Could Leave You Extra Vulnerable to Colds and Flu
1.) Eating too much sugar doesn't just pack on pounds … A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that eating 100 g of sugar (think three cans of soda) significantly hampered the ability of white blood cells to kill bacteria for up to 5 hours afterward. 2.) There's a reason moms and doctors always push fluids on you when you're sick. Your body needs plenty of water to flush out toxins"and yes, coffee and tea are acceptable sources. How much fluid you should drink daily varies from person to person. You're drinking the right amount if your urine is pale yellow. Drink this immune-boosting beverage instead 3.) You know excess weight is unhealthy for your heart, brain and other organs. But it's also bad for your immune system. In fact, those who become most seriously ill with swine flu tend to share the same characteristic: a body mass index over 40, meaning they are morbidly obese. Excess weight can cause hormonal imbalances and inflammation ...

POPS Expedition Great White EXPEDITIONS: * By mounting long-lasting tracking tags and taking measurements and DNA samples from live, wild sharks in this expedition, scientists are hoping to unravel the mysteries of the great white’s lifecycle ― where they are born, how they mate, where they migrate, aggregate, and more ― to help conserve and protect these endangered animals. * Dr. Domeier has developed profiles on almost 100 great whites based on their gill slits, pelvic fins, tails and color patterns. * He designed the most advanced real-time tracking devices ever made ― lasting up to six years and capable of sending 120,000 messages. * A line that can hold 5,000 pounds along with four fixed buoys can together create hundreds of pounds of drag that eventually wear down sharks’ resistance, allowing crew members to hand-reel them in safely. * The shark is then lifted onto the platform with a unique forklift that can safely hold 37 tons.

POPSTim McGirk, friend to the Taliban and promotor of the 'secondary PTSD' defense for the murderer Hasa Noah Pollak at Commentary has discovered that Mr. McGirk has a rather interesting history: This shouldn’t be surprising coming from Tim McGirk. He went to Afghanistan after 9/11, had Thanksgiving with the Taliban, and wrote a long piece for National Geographic about what a great time he had and how we’re all just human beings doing our thing on this big blue marble, so let’s not judge. Then he went to Iraq and singlehandedly created the Haditha Massacre hoax. Then he went to Jerusalem and spent a few years slandering Israel. Now he’s trafficking in pop psychology on behalf of a likely domestic jihadist. It’s been quite a career.

POPSTHE MILKMAN COMETH! While Taylor was at the FDA in the early 90’s, he also oversaw the policy regarding Monsanto’s genetically engineered bovine growth hormone (rbGH/rbST)—injected into cows to increase milk supply. The milk from injected cows has more pus, more antibiotics, more bovine growth hormone, and most importantly, more insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1). IGF-1 is a huge risk factor for common cancers and its high levels in this drugged milk is why so many medical organizations and hospitals have taken stands against rbGH.
