By that time also their breast milk had dried up. So they skipped feedings and/or added more water. Often the water was contaminated. Babies died; their growth was stunted; their brains damaged, they succumbed to simple diseases, etcetera. NESTLE also gave their formula to nursing mothers in other poor countries, e.g., in Africa and South and Central America. This formula lacked nutritional ingredients that were in the regular formula, with the same or similar results as above.

Americans will now be made criminals in not paying into this butcher system and this blogger will refuse to be a part of any system as this. NO IT STINKS: The bill slashes hundreds of billions from Medicare to fund a new government program – cuts to hospitals, nursing homes, and hospices that care for our seniors cuts that a pair of Senate Democrats voted repeatedly to reject. The bill includes massive tax increases on American families and businesses at a time of double digit unemployment. The bill includes a massive new entitlement -the CLASS Act – which the Democrat chairman of the Budget Committee described as a Ponzi scheme. A bipartisan majority (including 11 Democrats) voted to strike the CLASS Act — and they should withhold their support.

POPSDems cut Medicare Home Health Services to fund uninsured This will definitely effect me and my household. For 20+ yrs. I have cared for my elderly family members. With my MIL she could afford to have someone come in and help me and sit with her while I ran errands or took a break. She had Home Health Care aids from the hospital (paid partially by Medicare) come several times to check on her and help with bed sores. My Dad had to be in a nursing home and Medicare helped. My Mom is now with me and I depend on the CNA's and Eldercare Services to help me with bathing. The beds, wheelchairs, etc....were affordable with the Medicare coverage. My Mom will also lose her Medicare Advantage. So...what are we to do with our elderly? If Mr. Baucus' mother is receiving benefits from Medicare and other government services, then shame on him. On their salaries, surely they can afford to take care of their own parents.

POPSWill You Still Need Me, Will You Still Feed Me, When I’m Sixty-Four? …No! Democrats today voted to cut nearly half a trillion dollars from Medicare. The AP reported: Casting its first votes on revamping the nation’s health care system, the Senate rejected a Republican bid Thursday to stave off Medicare cuts and approved safeguards for coverage of mammograms and other preventive tests for women. The first round of votes ended with a fragile Democratic coalition hanging together. Senators voted 58-42 to reject an amendment by Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., that would have stripped more than $400 billion in Medicare cuts from the nearly $1 trillion measure. It would have sent the entire 2,074-page bill back to the Senate Finance Committee for a redo. Republicans said the proposed cuts to health insurance plans and medical providers mean seniors in the popular Medicare Advantage program will lose benefits. And they predicted lawmakers will ultimately back away from the cuts, once seniors start feeling the brunt.

In the meantime, he has been stripped of his nursing license. Last May, a Minnesota task force on Internet crimes searched Melchert-Dinkel's computer and found a Web chat between him and the young Canadian woman describing the best way to tie knots. In their search warrant, investigators said Melchert-Dinkel "admitted he has asked persons to watch their suicide via webcam but has not done so."
