POPSThe Late, Great American Nation "Think about some of the changes that have already moved us closer to a police state: the invasive USA Patriot Act; the increased domestic surveillance of citizens' emails and telephone calls; attempts to deny habeas corpus to prisoners; a national ID card; and now this alarming new law. In addition to opening the doors to a military state, the law also facilitates militarized police round-ups and detaining of protesters in detention camps that are already being built on American soil by the Halliburton corporation. Americans are incredibly naive if they believe those camps being built are just for illegal aliens."

POPSWho's being punished for 9-11?
We the People, that's who. "They", (we all know who the "they" is) haven't caught Bin Laden after 6 years of supposedly hunting him down. "They", sent our young people into an unnecessary war deluding the war they waged on the real 9-11 designers in Afghanistan. "They", depleted our liberties under the guise of Homeland Security. "They", took away so much of our National Guard, states were left without a safety net when natural disasters occurred i.e. KATRINA, which we are still being punished for with FEMA's revised Flood Maps. This little doozie is costing Me (A CARD CARRYING MEMBER OF, WE THE PEOPLE) 200 hundred dollars a month for flood insurance, added to my mortgage because the new flood maps put my house smack dab in the middle of a flood zone. Lived in a house for almost 13 years and was high and dry through La Niñas, hurricanes and a few torrential rains replete with strong tornadoes. All of a sudden "They" tell me I need flood insurance. http://thinkingblue.blogspot.com

POPS20 Ways to fight the New World Order See article for more details and the reasoning behind each suggestion. 13 and 18 are the most important in my opinion, and I can admit I am guilty of not keeping them.

POPS WE MUST STOP THIS INSANITY! Thankfully -- and not a moment too soon -- the bill brought forth by Rep. King introduces a much-needed measure of common sense to the current debate, and he already has 156 co-sponsors. As House Republican Whip Roy Blunt (R-MO) said earlier this week, "These lawmakers understand, as do the vast majority of Americans, that allowing illegal aliens to sign up for valid, legal ID is bad transportation policy, worse immigration policy, and an unconscionable national security policy. And though it may take another week or two for Sen. Clinton and Gov. Spitzer to arrive at that conclusion themselves, the American people knew it the minute it was offered -- and have since joined the rest of us in looking on in sheer bewilderment."

POPSFBI Admits Spying on Innocent Americans Using "national intelligence letters" from the so-called USA PATRIOT ACT. You are no longer a free citizen protected by the Constitution, but a criminal or terrorist suspect. Note how "credit reports...phone records...internet traffic" are among things admitted to. Your credit report has your entire financial and life history on it. This is why REAL ID must be resisted entirely, as well as the extra-constitutional Gestapo-patterned Office of Homeland Security. The founders always warned that "necessity" is the tyrant's plea, the usual justification for breaking constitutional restraints on government.

POPSHouston, We Have A Problem... A majority of Americans cling to a fairy tale to describe the origins of man (and women). To have their fantasies threatened evidently scares them to death. Because of this threat to their faith they lie without blinking an eye. Using their twisted logic that religion is not their motivation for squeezing Intelligent Design into science class falls apart when applied to other disciplines. There is no national push to teach astrology as an alternative to astronomy. There is no push to teach alchemy alongside chemistry. The only push is to teach Creationism (in the thin guise of ID) alongside evolution. And the drumbeat of lies from the IDers continues. Their discredited "science" (see Dover Penn trial) continues to be their best hope of getting god into the classroom and they won't stop until this is accomplished.

POPSBiometric ID for Britain I can see this being rolled out across europe. I know other countries have such technology in place, but in a purely voluntary basis. This scheme is not. Already the Irish govt is talking about this. Will britain be the guinea pig for the rest of the world? remember, britain is the most overtly surveilled country on the planet. So social conditioning has been hard at work to bring its population to the level whereby they will consent to this. Naturally there will be a controlled opposition to reign in any true opposition to this plan. Another scenario is everybody will have the ID card, but identity theft will be rampant and loads of people will be affected. And sure enough they will call on their loverly govt to provide a solution. (this entire process can be called "engineering consent" an old process) I'll pop your next post if you can tell me what that solution will be? :)

POPSThe Decline and Fall of America In 2006 under the name of terror, with the American people’s approval our constitution was changed with the signing of The Military Commissions Act of 2006 which removed Habeas Corpus completely which in return rendered The United States Constitution ineffective at that time. The 1877 Posse Comitatus Act which says there will be no military policing in America is gone. In may of 2007 PDD 51 and HSPD 20 were passed giving the president total power over all forms of government from tribal to federal in any national emergency. July 17 of 2007 Executive Order #13422 was passed which completed the circle of a total dictatorial authority. I was unable to capture the frightening essence of this article through clippings. I strongly suggest reading it in its entirety.

POPSArizona Joins the Revolt, Outlaws REAL ID Next! Liberty is a threatening thing to Homeland Security. If it was really about making drivers licenses secure then the Feds would not care. But it's really about federal power and their matrix of surveillance that they want to construct that is at stake.

POPSStop Real ID The Real ID Act of 2005 turns our state driver’s licenses into a national ID card, costs over $20 billion dollars, infringes privacy, and imposes major burdens on taxpayers, anybody renewing a driver's license, seniors, immigrants, transgender people, and state governments – while doing nothing to protect against terrorism. A huge coalition is fighting Real ID at the state and national level -- and we need your help.

POPSPolice State Tyranny "Everything you say, do, purchase, etc. will be monitored by anyone who chooses in the name of national security."

POPSAlaska Becomes 9th State to Outlaw REAL ID Tyrannical federal legislation sparked another Civil War against federal despotism, and the states are seceding from REAL ID continually, essentially using the doctrine of Nullification based upon the 10th amendment of the Constitution. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people. Any state that respects the Constitution and freedom for its citizens will do the same.

POPSTyranny Being Erected in U.S.--New Flight Rules Proposed How much will Americans put up with? What about "defending freedom" and "ridding the world of tyranny" while its being erected here! National ID cards, new travel restrictions, passports (with chips) for Canada and Mexico, REAL ID, Homeland Tyranny (aka Security), etc.. Time to reign in this government before its too late. NOT ONE GENUINE "TERRORIST" OR "SLEEPER CELL" HAS EVER BEEN FOUND IN THE U.S. SINCE 9/11. (Although 60 to 120 Israeli spies, per Fox News report in 2001 were. But Michael Chertoff had them released). It's getting worse, and fast. Recommend the full article by Paul Craig Roberts, who was an economist in the Reagan Administration and strong conservative credentials as a columnist. He has been trying to wake up Americans for the last five years. Anything by him is good and his articles are archived.

POPSCheap Labor By Jim Small Senator, "...Harper also said the state should cut the amount it spends on overtime for corrections officers in the state prisons. In the current budget, the Department of Corrections was allotted more than $24 million for overtime pay due to a shortage of officers. To achieve savings in the prisons without diminishing public safety, Harper proposed deploying the National Guard to state prisons and having soldiers replace corrections officers. The soldiers, he said, don't earn overtime pay. He said they could work 72 hours a week as prison guards - 12-hour shifts, seven days a week - and save the state millions of dollars. I find it unbelievable that people like Senator Harper only see the military as their labor pool!!!

POPSWoman Tasered For Having Suspended DL Wow, this woman didn't pose an overwhelming danger to the officers. She was just asking why the officers wanted her to step out! Is our country gradually becoming a police state? Are we to expect more incidents like this in the future which blatently disregard our rights? Will such actions be imposed more frequently after the introduction of a national ID card that has much more detailed info about us? Do you think those officers took the right cautionary actions to ensure their safety?

POPSEnough for one day.... ..... the more I see the harder it becomes to call myself a citizen of this country. We've lost our character, our Constitution and are now just a blink away from losing my freedom to the freaks that control our very destiny. I wrote a song a few years back called "I',m Done Now" but never recorded it save a cheapo cassette tape. I think it may just be time to get that one and a few more like it out there before they come after me.

POPSLamar Alexander R-Tenn Sees Chance To Nix Real ID Act
“Congress created Real ID, and they can do away with Real ID,” said Jim Harper, director of information policy studies at the Cato Institute and the author of a book on identification laws and technology. “Not a single state is going to be in compliance with the law by May, and the program has been failing from the start.” Citing the law’s unfunded costs and big-government approach, Alexander told Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff at a March 4 subcommittee meeting about his plans for the amendment. Like many critics, one of Alexander’s biggest concerns is cost. He points out that while some estimates of the implementation of Real ID come to $4 billion, federal officials have appropriated only $60 million and distributed only $6 million. At least 19 states have passed measures stating their opposition. “If you pass a bill without hearings, you’re going to miss stuff. And the authors of Real ID missed a lot,” Harper, of the Cato Institute said.
