POPS2010-The Year of the AWAKENING I’ve always been a fan of Mr. Rogers. His trip around the world on a Motorcycle is an experience in itself. What an adventure that must have been. As for Bernanke and Greenspan, Jim is so correct. Bernanke is just one of many from Goldman Sachs that now is part of the Obama the Joker administration. Bernanke is just helping out his fat cat friends the same that Obama claims to be opposed to. What a charade. I love Jim Rogers sense of humour , I usually follow all his interviews from this blog http://www.JimRogers.tk

But that said it is ridiculous to take 20 meds..unless you have had a heart transplant.. and even then I would look into each drug..do YOUR research..be in charge of YOUR health...don't just lay your life in anyone's hands..(unless it is the Messiah)

POPSGuardian 100 best films of the 2000s: 11-100 "Oldboy" is a powerful film not because of what it depicts, but because of the depths of the human heart which it strips bare. The top 10 will be published daily starting 21 Dec. See 11 - 100 list in full @ clip source. The 2000s: decade of the emergence of Mexican talent - Gael Garcia Bernal, Diego Luna, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Guillermo del Toro (Hellboy!) and Alfonso Cuaron. Is the Motorcycle Diaries in the top 10? Stay tuned. Note: I can clip images if I hover over an image and select shift+r, but that only works if that option is available: strange.

POPS Why We Fight Harley is also teaming up with Maxim magazine the "Harley Salutes the Military Contest," which gives active or retired personnel the chance to win a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle of their choice... delivered personally by Marisa. Rrrowrrr! Plus a trip to Las Vegas. Visit http://www.maxim.com/salutes to enter. If the winning vet turns out to be an Iowahawk reader, I will travel to Las Vegas to personally present him/her with a special bonus prize: an open bar tab. Dave's treat! If is only the motorcycle, the might as well does not have, but the motorcycle is carrying the coal gas, awarded marks.

POPSRemember When? When being sent to the principal's office was nothing compared to the fate that awaited a misbehaving student at home. Basically, we were in fear for our lives but it wasn't because of drive-by shootings, drugs, gangs, etc. Our parents and grandparents were a much bigger threat! The worst thing you could catch from the opposite sex was cooties. It was unbelievable that dodgeball wasn't an Olympic event. Having a weapon in school meant being caught with a slingshot. Scrapes and bruises were kissed and made better. Taking drugs meant orange-flavored chewable aspirin. Abilities were discovered because of a "double-dog-dare." If you can remember most or all of these, then you have LIVED!!! Didn't that feel good? Just to go back and say, "Yeah, I remember that!" Here's another blast from the past. Do you remember? .:) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CR8DMFfFs8

POPSSlavery Today During the four years that Benjamin Skinner researched modern-day slavery, he posed as a buyer at illegal brothels on several continents, interviewed convicted human traffickers in a Romanian prison and endured giardia, malaria, dengue and a bad motorcycle accident. But Skinner is most haunted by his experience in a brothel in Bucharest, Romania, where he was offered a young woman with Down syndrome in exchange for a used car.
