They have personal chefs, TVs, remote controls, beach volleyball, a library overlooking the ocean, scenic views, free laundry service, new prayer rugs to pray to Allah.....and they're getting the H1N1 vaccine before you. The libs want them out of Cuban Clown College as long as they're nowhere near their Manhattan penthouses or vacation spots in the Vineyard. As if splashing water on their damn faces is going to scare them off.....PUH-LEASE. Gitmo should be rebranded so that liberals wouldn’t reflexively scream “TORTURE!” every time they heard it’s name. How about "Misfired Martyrs Motel" or "Viva la Incarceracion!"?

The one that "seemed genuinely sorry about it" TUFF ! should of thought about that when doing it. Now it's time to pay for being a follower to impress your peers. LaLanne works out two hours a day, mostly swimming and lifting weights… "I work at living," he says, leaning close and squeezing an arm. "Most people work at dying. Dying's easy." One of LaLanne's most effective sales devices has been his amazing feats of strength. When Arnold Schwarzenegger came to America in 1968 and became an instant sensation on the Southern California muscle scene, LaLanne challenged the kid to a duel at Muscle Beach. The Austrian Oak was 21; the Oakland Oak was 54. "I beat him in chin-ups and push-ups," LaLanne says. "He said, 'That Jack LaLanne's an animal! I was sore for four days. I couldn't lift my arms!' " At age 70, handcuffed, LaLanne towed 70 loaded boats 1.5 miles in Long Beach Harbor.

POPSTaxpayers Get Soaked Private insurance companies were reluctant to sell insurance to those of us who build on the edges of oceans, and were they to offer it, they'd charge an arm and a leg to cover the risk. But this wasn't a problem for me, because you offered to insure my house. I know you didn't do it personally, but you, as a taxpayer, are the guarantee behind federal flood insurance. Should a big storm wipe out half the coast, you'll cover our losses — up to a quarter-million dollars. Thanks — we appreciate it — but what a dumb policy. The subsidized insurance goes to affluent homeowners on both coasts — from Malibu Beach, where movie stars live, to Kennebunkport where the Bush family has a vacation home, to Hyannisport, where the Kennedy family has a summer home, to the Hamptons, where I bought my house. There is no limit on how many times the government will pay if a house keeps washing away.

And when George Bush got caught breaking the law by spying on Americans with no warrants, Klein immediately demanded that Democrats do nothing to oppose it and then even infamously proclaimed that he supports the spying program even though he has virtually no idea what the program does.

POPSAmazing.......Still think we are alone ? Take every grain of sand from every beach and ocean and shore on the earth. Try to imagine each grain a planet in the vastness of space. To just imagine 1 grain from a hand full even baffles the mind much less infinite number of grains. Now take time.....13.5 billion years approximately. Just try imagining that in head makes me dizzy. .. My point.........to think that out of all those grains of sand and that amount of time that 1 single grain (our earth) is the only one that harbors intelligent life is not only ridiculous but as insane. I am sure they are out there same as we are. Staring up at the stars wondering the same thing. Perhaps someday if we live that long we will meet.

More than 3,000 police officers cheered Crowley when he spoke at the Long Beach Convention Center. Dozens left their seats to take snapshots of him as he stood at the podium. "The past month has been very difficult for my family, my friends and my colleagues back in Cambridge, and it's no exaggeration to say that it wouldn't be as easy for me to handle this without the support from the Fraternal Order of Police ... and the support that the men and women who do this job have given me," he said. "Thank you very much." Crowley declined to comment further after leaving the stage. Crowley arrested Gates on July 16. The officer was first to respond to the home the renowned black scholar rents from Harvard University, after a woman reported seeing two men trying to force open the front door. Gates said he had to shove the door open because it was jammed. He was charged with disorderly conduct after police said he yelled at Crowley, accused him of racial bias . . .

POPSObama Family To Vacation In West Philly Crackhouse The backyard is just waiting for someone with a green thumb. Michelle Obama will have many wonderful hours cleaning out the bags of trash that the previous tenants tossed out the window. The weeds, used condoms and empty crack vials will keep her and the girls busy for days. If they are lucky, they might even find some human remains scattered around the yard. The Obama Family will especially enjoy the hot, humid Philadelphia nights without air conditioning or electricity. The drive-by shootings, drug dealings and general insanity will be so entertaining for them, they won't even want to sleep. The relaxing month-long vacation will be a stress-free break, and the family will return to Washington in September with many wonderful stories to share about their unusual experiences in the City of Brotherly Love.

One theory is that the squid can be disoriented by rapidly changing water temperatures. "The water temperature has been a little weird lately," Staaf said. "If the squid were in really warm water, but then it suddenly got very cold, that could be confusing for them." Another possibility is that the beached squid had ingested dangerous amounts of a toxin called domoic acid.
