TitleLoans
by TitleLoans  11-12-2009
Auto title loans are personal loans that are based on the equity of your vehicle. Much like a home equity loan, but for your car or truck instead of your house. As long as you can prove that you have a monthly income of at least $1,500, then it doesn’t matter if you are unemployed, retired, or on disability. Make sure to mention if you are when you apply for a title loan with us.

Las Cruces Auto Title Loans We have 2 locations in Las Cruces. Both are affiliate companies with our firm. We are the direct lender but use these companies to hand you the cash. To arrange to get your money you need to apply. "I was a bit hesitant at first to use your company because I never heard of you guys. Then I was talking with a buddy of mine and he told me that he used your company. Well I figured if you would loan money to him, you would loan it to me. I get it now. You use some currency exchanges to pay the money to me and handle all the transaction our of your corporate office. Now it makes sense why you are cheaper than the local guys. You blow them away. They were gonna charge me three times what you were for the same money. So I owe my buddy a beer and I have to tell you guys, that Carol I spoke with on the phone was nice to me too. Thanks guys. Now I'll tell my other friends to use your car title loan company too. - Jeff D - Las Cruces, NM"

merrie

Eviscerating Medicare: In addition to reducing future Medicare funding by an estimated $500 billion, the bill fundamentally changes how Medicare pays doctors and hospitals, permitting the government to dictate treatment decisions. Sec. 1302 (pp. 672-692) moves Medicare from a fee-for-service payment system, in which patients choose which doctors to see and doctors are paid for each service they provide, toward what's called a "medical home." (The bill specifies that patients may have to settle for a nurse practitioner rather than a physician as the primary-care provider.) Sec. 1114 (pp. 391-393) replaces physicians with physician assistants in overseeing care for hospice patients. • Secs. 1158-1160 (pp. 499-520) initiates programs to reduce payments for patient care to what it costs in the lowest cost regions of the country. Sec. 1161 (pp. 520-545) cuts payments to Medicare Advantage plans (used by 20% of seniors). Advantage plans have warned this will result in . . . .

Fraud Could Undermine Housing Tax Credit as Troubling Report Emerges
merrie
by merrie  10-30-2009    2
The Government Accountability Office reports that $10 billion had been spent on 1.4 million credits as of late August. As the economy hit trouble in 2008, Congress passed a $7,500 tax credit for first-time homebuyers as a no-interest, long-term loan to stimulate the housing market. The credit was expanded under the economic recovery act passed in February to $8,000, not as a loan, but a fully refundable credit. Economists worry that the tax break is going to those who would have purchased homes anyway, and filling homes by vacating others " as renters become buyers " without benefit to the economy as a whole. Estimates are that more than three-quarters of the expected 1.5 million taxpayers who will have tapped the program would have bought homes even without the tax credit, putting the price to the government at about $43,000 per homebuyer who would not have bought a house without the credit. The Government Accountability Office reports that 59 percent of those claiming . .

More Race-based policies from the Obama administration
disenchantedcitizen
by disenchantedcitizen  7-25-2009    6
His entrance into the dust-up between a Massachusetts police officer and Dr. Henry Gates proves that as far as our President is concerned, if you're white, you're not right. He played the race-card in a grand Presidential trump, accusing a white cop of violating a black man's rights. He refused to even consider that his friend, the esteemed doctor, behaved like a titty baby. The Administration's own numbers show that rural America is a diverse community. There is no need for Government intervention. Morris Dees of the Southern Poverty Law Center acknowledges that the rise in "hate" groups is astounding, in the last five years, we’ve seen a 30% increase in the number of hate groups. There you have it. All those years of Government mandated affirmative action programs have failed. If the goal was to improve racial relations, they missed it by a country mile. Further proof that the last thing the rural community needs is a bunch of liberal urbanites dictating how we live.

Slasher Politics
merrie
by merrie  10-25-2009
Per Jigsaw’s instructions, turncoat Detective Hoffman (Costas Mandylor) shepherds the insurance company nitwits to their demise. No reason why the ”Saw” franchise shouldn’t jump on the pop-culture Obama cheerleading train like everyone else in La-la with a little B-flick health-care advocacy. And with the loan officer thing, there’s something for everyone! One thing slasher fans may want to bear in mind, though. When your gaping, bloody saw wounds need to be stitched and stapled up, do you really want to wait in line for the lowest bidder? Boston Herald’s Tenley Woodman gives Saw VI a “D.” No, not for the feel-good politics embedded in the middle of a feel-bad extravaganza. … it is the depraved acts and gore that make these films objectionable. Hate to quibble, but I think that’s what makes them marketable.

ACORN foresaw the foreclosure crisis in 2001
Lexica
by Lexica  10-23-2009
More: Moreover, Oakland's law would have gone much farther than requiring that borrowers could afford loans. In 2001, ACORN officials already recognized that the driving force behind the subprime lending was the ability of brokers to chop up risky mortgages, repackage them with good loans as "securities," and sell them to other banks on a largely unregulated market. When homeowners who couldn't afford their loans later defaulted on them, these securities became widely known as "toxic assets" and were the primary cause of the world financial crisis… But if Oakland's law had been widely adopted, the bailout likely would have been unnecessary and the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression probably averted. Why? Because the city's ordinance not only would have held mortgage brokers liable for making bad loans, but also every other bank that later bought pieces of those bad loans after they were securitized. In short, the market for subprime loans would have dried up.

Though it is not always the case, I believe, That the longer we've kept 'em, the more do we grieve: For, when debts are payable, right or wrong, A short-time loan is as bad as a long So why in Heaven (before we are there!)
