POPSLiz Cheney emerges, the left's feeding frenzy (and "tolerance"), verging on abject panic So Liz Cheney, just like Palin, unnerves and upsets the Left, not simply because she might run for something and win, and not only because she is one of the most effective conservative spokeswomen on national security. She threatens their claim to the moral high ground and their assertion that women voters belong to the Left. That’s reason enough to send them into fits of rage. And you can bet they’re only getting warmed up. So predictable. Saw this coming a mile away. It's almost boring watching the left piss their pants again over a woman who happens to be a conservative. Maybe we can expect David Letterman to crack a rape joke about Liz and her family, on behalf of the "tolerant" left. Sad. Chinese Proverb: “A wise man makes his own decisions, an ignorant man follows public opinion"

POPSHey Dave...I Missed the Joke... Sick. We saw it again recently AGAIN with the passing of Sen. Kennedy. His litany of indiscretions towards women was excused and accepted. Gross. Do libs think no one notices this hypocrisy? Hells bells, talk about idiocy and stupidity of epic proportion. They make this shit up about Limbaugh. They make it up! Yet their own damn party is out there in the open doing it in front of our very eyes. Sick. Gross. No, Dave, you don't get to decide when this story end. Count on it to last a long time. I don't forgive or forget that easy. You can count on that.

POPSWhy Letterman's behavior was problematic, even if consensual
More: The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission finds that Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 “does not prohibit isolated instances of preferential treatment based upon consensual romantic relationships,” but is less sanguine when such treatment permeates an office: “If favoritism based upon the granting of sexual favors is widespread in a workplace, both male and female colleagues who do not welcome this conduct can establish a hostile work environment in violation of Title VII regardless of whether any objectionable conduct is directed at them and regardless of whether those who were granted favorable treatment willingly bestowed the sexual favors. In these circumstances, a message is implicitly conveyed that the managers view women as ‘sexual playthings,’ thereby creating an atmosphere that is demeaning to women.”… Another former writer e-mailed me: “And the No. 1 Sign David Letterman is changing his ways: ‘Mr. Letterman’s office. Lloyd speaking.’"

POPSJudgment Day While Mr. Letterman's consensual sexual relationships may not fit the moral values of the monogamous society we live in, extortion is a crime. The more interesting question to me is why he felt he had to make a public admission to private matters.

POPSPresident Obama Had Better Learn That Being Allergic To The Word “Victory” Has Serious Consequences
Since American soldiers are doing the vast majority of the dirty work, their per-capita death rate is still 1-1/2 to two times that of their counterparts in Iraq.) President Obama had better learn that being allergic to the word “victory” has serious consequences " and quickly. __________________________________________ Joseph Curl at the Washington Times recites some of the “distractions” that are apparently keeping Obama from paying proper attention to Afghanistan and carrying out his primary role as Commander in Chief: In the past month, the president has found the time to play golf " four times. He’s had links legend Arnold Palmer and other top golfers over to the White House. He’s shot some hoops with friends and yukked it up with hockey’s Pittsburgh Penguins. He’s celebrated Ramadan at the White House, eulogized newsman Walter Cronkite in New York City, attended several fundraisers (including Thursday afternoon’s luncheon), appeared on David Letterman's . . .

POPSCensorship Broadcasting System? “I’ve probably broken a record for the least amount of sex for a person who has their own television show,” Mr. David said to Mr. Letterman, adding, “I probably broke yours.”

POPSSo it's EXTORTION..no word about ADULTEROUS BEHAVIOR! Hmmm Hmmm Hmmm Well, it certainly could happen to a nicer guy. The increasingly irascible and decreasingly funny late night talk show host announced to his audience Tuesday night that he has been the victim of an extortion plot. It seems the sarcastic leftist has been a serial adulterer with members of his staff, reportedly all female ones. Looks like the caustic native Hoosier has been caught without his Worldwide Pants.

POPSLate Night Monkey Business OK, the David Letterman Top Tens are piling up. Here’s mine, posted on Twitter last night while the show was being aired. So I’m claiming the first: ”No 10. Because he can really bossanova.” “No. 9. Has writers for his pickup lines” “No. 8. Because behind that wrinkly American Gothic exterior pounds the heart of an irresistible love monkey.” “No. 7. Hey, lots of women like ‘em old, rich and married. Heh heh.” “No. 6. What are you going to do, impeach me?” “No. 5. Because Leno has the cars, and I needed an expensive hobby.” “No. 4. Because the Obama administration isn’t funny enough. Heh heh heh. Ba-dum-dum.” “No 3. Because I don’t like broccoli. Ha ha!” “No. 2. This has bin a test of the Emrgncy Paparazzi System. It was only a test. If this had bin a real paparazzi emrgncy … heh” “And No. 1. My cardiologist ordered me to get more exercise. Heh heh heh. Exercise. More of it. Heh heh. Ba-dum-dum”

POPSLetterman admits having sex with female employees NEW YORK – A CBS News employee is accused of trying to extort $2 million from David Letterman, forcing the late-night host to admit in an extraordinary monologue before millions of viewers that he had sexual relationships with female employees.

POPSThat horrible media double-standard toward Palin the same conservative commentariat that vilified both Clintons 24/7 now whines that Palin is receiving “the kind of mauling” that the media “always reserve for conservative Republicans.” So said The Wall Street Journal editorial page last week. You’d never guess that The Journal had published six innuendo-laden books on real and imagined Clinton scandals, or that the Clintons had been a leading target of both Letterman and Leno monologues, not to mention many liberal editorial pages (including that of The Times), for much of a decade

POPSDear David Letterman.... “At the end of the day, David Letterman’s show is David Letterman’s show, but as Jay Leno recently pointed out, by being overtly political either way, you alienate half of the country. As someone who has always been a fan of David Letterman, I have become more and more disappointed and yes, dare I say disgusted about his attitude toward Sarah Palin and her daughters. Is it too much to ask to leave a 14-year-old girl out of a late-night joke? Apparently in today’s media, yes it is, especially when it is the daughter of a Republican politician.” *** “Firing Mr. Letterman would send a clear message that CBS will not tolerate any of its employees — even an established media figure like Mr. Letterman — making demeaning and degrading comments about women.”
