POPSWhy do humans kiss? "Still, most people are satisfied with the explanation that humans kiss because it feels good. Our lips and tongues are packed with nerve endings, which help intensify all those dizzying sensations of being in love when we press our mouths to someone else’s. Experiencing such feelings doesn’t usually make us think too hard about why we kiss – instead, it drives us to find ways to do it more often".

POPSSex Is Good For You "When people feel deeply close while merely holding hands, they are having sex. When people display caring for each other through hugs, caresses, and kissing, they are also having sex. When connecting people in a crowded room wink at each other in their own secret way, they are communicating sex to each other; such non-contact sex can be excitedly arousing and emotionally fulfilling. And, of course, during sexual union when the sky seems to open so a lightning bolt can strike the couple--while fireworks ignite and the earth stops spinning-- this is sex, too." Emotional intimacy is so important and the first step is to allow yourself to be vulnerable with someone is taking the time to build that intimacy with others. One of the primary reasons I've always felt close to women is because of emotional intimacy. The whole package of love, companionship and sex can be so appealing, and I think that is one of the reasons men are attracted to women.

POPSA kiss will never miss ~ How did it happen that their lips came together? How does it happen that birds sing, that snow melts, that the rose unfolds, that the dawn whitens behind the stark shapes of trees on the quivering summit of the hill? A kiss, and all was said. ~ Victor Hugo ~It will be the kiss by which all others in your life will be judged...and found wanting.~ Hearts in Atlantis

POPSIt's In The Kiss Is not a kiss the very autograph of love? ~Henry Finck 'Twas not my lips you kissed But my soul ~Judy Garland Kissing is like drinking salted water. You drink, and your thirst increases. ~Chinese Proverb A kiss seals two souls for a moment in time. ~Levende Waters Ancient lovers believed a kiss would literally unite their souls, because the spirit was said to be carried in one's breath. ~Eve Glicksman Gawd, I love this stuff!!!!!

POPSThe 10 mysteries of human behaviour that science can't explain Scientists have split the atom, put men on the moon and discovered the DNA of which we are made, but there are 10 key mysteries of human behaviour which they have failed to fully explain. The New Scientist magazine compiled a list of the everyday aspects of life which continue to confound the world's greatest brains, including the reasons behind kissing, blushing and even picking your nose.

POPSLess killing, more kissing "Nintendo brought casual gaming mainstream with the Wii and DS consoles. Facebook games are of Nintendo quality but add the compelling social aspect of playing with your friends and family across the internet." "Games have been popular activities since the beginning of civilisation. began as a social activity, a form of play, interaction, connection and sharing. On Facebook they have come full circle, using the latest technologies to connect us with each other and have fun doing it."

POPSWhy We Kiss Studies show that as many as 80 percent of mothers, whether right-handed or left-handed, cradle their infants on their left side. Infants cradled, face up, on the left must turn to the right to nurse or nuzzle. As a result, most of us may have learned to associate warmth and security with turning to the right.

POPSNo Kissing It was a beautiful evening and so warm for late winter. I wanted to just hold her hand as we entered the restaurant, but I knew that could be inviting a range of reactions such as indifference to outright violence. A friend and her husband were sitting nearby talking to us and she kissed him--Awwwwww . . . was the reaction and deservingly so--they are such a cute couple, but again I got wistful thinking, or maybe wishful, who knows? "We have a long way to go but I'm glad the tides are turning. I hope eventually we reach a point where people just grow up and stop treating people like shit because of something they have no control over." Sometimes I feel like it's so difficult and I get so tired. I never get used to it.

POPSIn Memory of Common Sense Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student, but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn’t defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death, by his parents, “Truth” and “Trust,” by his wife, “Discretion,” by his daughter, “Responsibility,” and

POPSGay Guys Have All The Fun I highly doubt gays are more promiscuous than heteros. Gay or not, Enrique seems to be doing the rounds quite well with the ladies, without a need to *envy* gays. Fidelity is more a question of moral integrity, than of sexuality IMO.

POPSOh John, What Have Ye Done? This article was very difficult to clip effectively. It truly spells out the tragedy of John McCain's fall from grace. A man who sold his integrity and core beliefs when he smelled, up close, the strong, aroma of power. He betrayed his own family after they were slandered by the vicious Bush team in 2000 and literally wound up kissing his enemies cheeks in order to fall into the good graces of the Evangelical base. He further ensured this by snuggling up to all the Evangelical leaders who smeared and libeled him during the campaign because the taste of power was so strong. Once a man even I as a Liberal could proudly support, he is now just a shadow of a man who at one time exemplified political greatness. A tragedy, indeed. Please take the time to read the complete article.
