POPSSharpton Blasts Tiger Woods Sharpton, who has long championed taking black women as mistresses, said that today’s black athletes need to stop neglecting black women when it comes to extramarital affairs, and should follow the examples of positive black role models such as Jesse Jackson and Martin Luther King, Jr., both of whom cheated on their wives with black women. Sharpton also stressed that cheating with African-American women would help the black community financially by giving black girls the chance to sell their stories to tabloids and gossip magazines. Added Sharpton, “I’m not asking you to not cheat on your wives, I’m just asking you to give back to your own community.”

POPSLimbaugh Bad, Mao Good by Mark Steyn
and famously nondivisive figures like the Rev. Al Sharpton and the Rev. Jesse Jackson expressed the hope that, with Mr. Divisive out of the picture, the NFL could now "unify." The second quotation " hailing Mao " was uttered back in June to an audience of high school students by Anita Dunn, the White House communications director. I know she uttered it because I watched the words issuing from her mouth on "The Glenn Beck Show" on Fox News. But don't worry. Nobody else played it. So if I understand correctly: Rush Limbaugh is so "divisive" that to get him fired Leftie agitators have to invent racist sound bites to put in his mouth. But the White House communications director is so undivisive that she can be invited along to recommend Chairman Mao as a role model for America's young. From my unscientific survey, U.S. school students are all but entirely unaware of Mao Tse Tung, and the few that aren't know him mainly as a T-shirt graphic or "agrarian reformer."

POPSSharpton/Jackson Ask NFL To Block Limbaugh Bid The latest complaints came a day after executive director of the NFL Players Association, DeMaurice Smith, urged players to speak out against Limbaugh's bid. "I have asked our players to embrace their roles not only in the game of football but also as players and partners in the business of the NFL," Smith said in a statement Sunday. "They risk everything to play this game, they understand that risk and they live with that risk and its consequences for the rest of their life. "We also know that there is an ugly part of history and we will not risk going backwards, giving up giving in or lying down to it.

POPSJesse Jackson Criticizes ACORN's Defunding
Walter asked Jackson how he could defend ACORN against the federal cuts considering the community service organization has remained under a cloud of criminal suspicion. ACORN faces investigations into its dealings in 14 states. “I’m not trying to defend it," he said. "I’m simply saying there should be due process. We don’t start with a conclusion. We start with an investigation and an analysis.” Jackson acknowledged that race could be one of several reasons why President Obama has received strong opposition to his healthcare reform crusade. “It may be a factor, but confusion is a factor. Misunderstanding is a factor, and fear is a factor. So, we must get beyond that — because healthcare costs are rising, because the insurance companies, the pharmaceuticals and hospitals have runaway costs without checks and balances.” “That’s why the public option is important,” he said. Walter asked Jackson why he believes it is the government’s responsibility to provide healthcare to i

POPSSome Blacks Now Have Doubts About Obama Almost a third of blacks consider themselves conservative according to a Pew Research Center report.. Even a star like Bill Cosby incurred the wrath of the black establishment when he started talking about black families and personal responsibility. As result, he backed off and toned down his message. Recall during the campaign, candidate Obama ruffled Jesse Jackson's feathers when he spoke about personal responsibility among black males. An inadvertently "on" microphone picked up Jackson saying that he wanted to castrate Obama (not exactly in that language). these folks have always been inclined to be quiet because of the social pressures and intimidation. But this is changing. Despite slurs, intimidation, and widely reported physical attacks from union thugs, a few brave black souls have showed up at tea party protest rallies.

POPSTop 10 Racist Limbaugh Quotes (Leader of the Rebubbacan Party)
9. I think the media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. They’re interested in black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well. I think there’s a little hope invested in McNabb and he got a lot of credit for the performance of his team that he really didn’t deserve. 10. Limbaugh attacks on Obama. Limbaugh has called Obama a ‘halfrican American’ has said that Obama was not black but Arab because Kenya is an Arab region, even though Arabs are less than one percent of Kenya. Since mainstream America has become more accepting of African-Americans, Limbaugh has decided to play against its new racial fears, Arabs and Muslims. Despite the fact Obama graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law school, Limbaugh has called him an ‘affirmative action candidate.’ Limbaugh even has repeatedly played a song on his radio show ‘Barack the Magic Negro’ using an antiquated Jim Crow era term for black a man who many Americans are supporting for president. Way to go Rush.

POPSJesse Jackson: Obama should be in Bible "And my favorite line, from a reader of Andrew Sullivan: "Tomorrow I will go to the African American cemetery outside of Chicago where my great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbors, and my mother and father are buried. And I will tell them that they were right -- that if we studied hard, worked hard, kept the faith, fought for justice, prayed, that this day would come. And it has."

POPSIs "Senate Candidate 5" Obama's State Senate Mentor? Speculation centers around two prominent African-American politicians, Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. and Emil Jones, president of the Illinois State Senate. Smith notes, though, that Jackson isn't particularly known as a fundraising specialist, whereas Jones has money in his State Senate account that could be transferred to Blagojevich. Jones and Obama had a close relationship when Obama served in the Illinois State Senate. It was Jones who eventually took Obama under his wing and made sure that key pieces of legislation developed by others had Obama's name on them. Thus, it's interesting if true (this is speculation upon speculation) that Obama didn't want his old mentor to get a U.S. Senate seat. It's also understandable, inasmuch as Jones (like Obama for that matter) is connected to Tony Rezko.

POPS Blagojevich: Who Is Advisor B? (Washington Based Consultant) Advisor B pops up again on November 12, in another conversation with Blagojevich. The two discussed forming a non-profit organization to be headed by Blagojevich and funded by some rich Obama supporter. According to the complaint, “Advisor B stated that he likes the idea, but liked the Change to Win option better because, according to Advisor B, from the president-elect’s perspective, there would be fewer ‘fingerprints’ on the president-elect’s involvement with Change to Win, because Change to Win already has an existing stream of revenue and, therefore, ‘you won’t have stories in four years that they bought you off.’” As I wrote yesterday, the complaint contains a three-week gap —On that day, according to the complaint, Blagojevich “spoke to Advisor B and informed Advisor B that he was giving Senate Candidate Five greater consideration for the Senate seat Senate Candidate Five would ‘raise money’ for ROD BLAGOJEVICH,
