POPSRAF: 'That (UFOs) exist is indisputable.' more (at source): "If the reports are taken at face value then devices exist that do not use conventional reaction propulsion systems, they have a very wide range of speeds and are stealthy. I suggest we could use the technology, if it exists." The internal debate in the MoD came to a head in 1995, when documents were made public revealing that UFO reports were routinely copied to specialist "Defence Intelligence" branches. An exasperated intelligence office wrote to the UFO Desk: "I see no reason for continuing to deny that (Defence Intelligence) has an interest in UFOs.

POPSCFR Pushes Law of the Sea Treaty (LOST) The Obama administration, like the Democratic and Republican administrations preceding it, stretching back the presidency of Franklin Delano Roosevelt (and even before), is heavily larded with CFR members in critical positions. Obama’s CFR appointments, so far, include Timothy Geithner, Robert Gates, Michele Flournoy, Lawrence Summers, Thomas Donilon, Rosa Brooks, James Steinberg, Susan Rice, John Holdren, Eric Shinseki, Daniel Tarullo, Mona Sutphen, and Jeh Johnson. President Obama, Vice President Biden, and Secretary of State Clinton are not formal CFR members, but all three have been closely associated with the organization (speaking at CFR programs and/or writing for the CFR journal, Foreign Affairs), and all three have supported ratifying LOST while serving in the Senate.

POPSReport: Martha Stewart refused entry to Britain In keeping with the days when the older empire exported its petty criminals to the colonies, it's now refusing entry to the USA's dangerous criminals. The receipts might poison millions of the queen's subjects! Might we find that the fortress Britain is acting on behalf of the US Homeland guards?

POPSVirginia Churches Fight Over Church Property Keep your eye on this one. What's at stake here is the ability of schismatic congregations (or dioceses) to walk away from their denominations and keep their property, in contravention of canon law. That's no small concern, particularly in high-rent districts like Northern Virginia. If the ruling goes against the denominations, we could see Akinola and his creepy buddies breaking up churches all over the place. I think the law here should be clear: civil courts don't get involved in ecclesial disputes. The schismatics should live with the consequences of their actions. http://www.ethicsdaily.com/article_detail.cfm?AID=10500 I find this interesting because of the schism between liberal and conservative Episcopalians over the acceptance of lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender (LGBT) persons. That is what led to the split and now they are fighting over property. Peter Jasper Akinola is the Anglican Primate of the Church of Nigeria.
