In response to my Paxil post -- Is Paxil creating more people who aren’t self-reflective? More “Conservatives Without a Conscience”? Happy Idiots http://bit.ly/4EBV8s -- I received the post below from a real zombie, an actual conservative, with thought patterns similar to Michelle Bauchman, Glenn Beck, Palin, the tea-baggers, all the Republicans (notice how they do everything in unison -- complete authoritarian mind-control. Wow. Scary. Who knows, maybe they are the Borg! (As Palin, would say, *wink*)) Here's my response to his comments below. And remember to be kind to this drug addict. Who knows if he wouldn't be one of us is he wasn't popping that Matrix-promoted soma (Paxil)? My comment to him follows: Sorry to wake you from your Paxil-induced unreality. You remind me of the people I know on Paxil. They see their own traits reflected outside of themselves. As a therapist of 40 years, I'm quite familiar with that. It's called projection. I've noticed this personality change in people who have started taking antidepressants. Seems they are extroverted at the cost of empathy, self-understanding, self-consciousness. Hey, I've been there -- it's called inebriation. And, by the way, I've also noticed a tendency for these antidepressants to be doorways to other drugs, like alcohol, as a matter of fact. And these are dangerous combinations, as acknowledged by the proponents of these SSRI drugs. I say, right on, to Dr. Drew's comment on this: "I can't believe that these dangerous drugs like Paxil are still being viewed as possible solutions to "depression". We all need to get a clue that we are being marketed to in ways we never imagined." POPSChina begins 1000 km high speed rail link I recently took the 330 km/hr (200+ mph) train from Beijing to Tianjin. It is stunning, smooth, and ultra modern. Now this is real stimulus. Our U.S. administration are total idiots first by a stiulus that is nothing but political pork, and throwing good money after bad in bailing out the failing U.S. car industry. The U.S. does not have anything comparing to this Chinese train. Our infrastructure is failing badly, and we are rapidly becoming a third world country, thanks to the fools who voted in an empty suit marxist president.
