POPSCursing Capitalism The economy is still imploding, which is bad. I don’t know if Obama will do anything useful since our economy is based on capitalism and he hates capitalism. Also, our economy is in America and he hates that country. And anti-capitalism protesters are sexy hot, don't ya think?

POPSPope Benedict XVI: we must all go green to save the planet Calling for an end to war and in particular the suffering of children, the 82-year-old, German-born pontiff said there was "a close link" between respect for mankind and respect for nature. "If humanity shames itself, it damages its environment", Benedict said. He appealed for "investment in education with the objective not only to transmit technical and scientific concepts, but also a broader and deeper 'ecological responsibility' based on respect for humanity, human rights and fundamental duties". The Pope went on to say, " God be with the days when boys wore hot pants, the public were cowed down and silent and we could get away with murder."

POPSHow Long Must Terrorism Go On? How Long? As U2 sings, "How long must this go on; how long?" Religion was not established to murder and be blessed. What wayward thinking that will only bring doom to those who kill in the name of God.

POPSFounders of Religions As One Though they were different souls, the Founders of the divinely revealed religions were from the same Source. Yet in humanity, these religions continue to argue among each other and one another.

POPSHumans use the technology, not viceversa It is very easy to blame the technology on the worst problems of humanity. But technology is only a catalyst, which accelerates and empowers human activity. New weapons enable more lethal wars, new equipments allow saving more lives in hospitals. If new technologies seem to generate new problems it is because of this effect, which transforms something, rendering it at a greater scale and thus noticeable. For those who think otherwise, they have at their disposal may alternatives, as the Amish lifestyle.

POPSWhy not give if you can I work at the hospital as a blood transfusion technician and every day I see people whose lives depend on our awareness, humanity and generosity. Not all of us can make this gift to others due to various health reasons but we can remind our friends that perhaps they could help. Here are some interesting facts: -1 pint of blood can save up to 3 lives -Every 2 seconds someone needs a blood transfusion -5 million patients in he US need blood every year -Less than 38 percent of the population is eligible to give blood -Blood cannot be manufactured; it can only come from volunteer donors -30 million blood components are transfused each year -Platelets, critical for cancer patients, have a shelf life of only 5 days -Adults have 10-12 pints of blood in their body - 1 pints is given during a donation -Donors can give blood every 56 days. Platelet donors can give every 3 days

POPSThe Necessity of An Educator It is not correct to say all religions are the same; they are not. However, it is truthful to say that all divinely inspired religions, and their Manifestations (Moses, Krishna, Zoroaster, Jesus Christ, Muhammad, etc.) receive Their inspiration from the same Source, the Ancient of Days. So why do we fight? Why is blood shed? Why is there terrorism? Why are there wars? Why is there such a disparity of wealth and poverty in this world, where we are all one, created by the same loving God? Why all this misery when we are brothers and sisters of the same human family where the artificial concept known as race doesn't matter a bit. We are one human race with a magnificent diversity of cultures, lifestyles, viewpoints and religions.

POPS"And we shall call this 'Moff's Law'" More: …Finally, this should also go without saying, but since it apparently doesn’t: Believe me, the person who is annoying you so much by thinking about the art? They have already considered your revolutionary “just enjoy it” strategy, because it is not actually revolutionary at all. It is the default state for most of humanity. So when you go out of your way to suggest that people should be thinking less — that not using one’s capacity for reason is an admirable position to take, and one that should be actively advocated — you are not saying anything particularly intelligent. And unless you live on a parallel version of Earth where too many people are thinking too deeply and critically about the world around them and what’s going on in their own heads, you’re not helping anything; on the contrary, you’re acting as an advocate for entropy.

POPSChristmas truce If soldiers facing-off in The Great War could spontaneously enact a Christmas truce, how difficult is it to establish peace in this world, really? How much longer the anguished cries from every continent? How long?

POPSVintage Moonbattery: Copenhagen's A Battle To Humble And "Redefine Humanity" So this isn't the place for rationality. It's the place to reverse the Industrial Revolution. You do have to read this entire self-caricature, though, because there's just so much I couldn't include. There's an entire section on how the people who disagree with him - the bullies who call him bad names - are angry because he's just too decent. Then there was a part about how we have to reign in "adventurers," which a cynical person might read as a pointed version of banal Blue State nannyism. "I'm too priggish to have fun so you're not allowed to have any either." The Guardian (http://bit.ly/691nUu)

POPSHolocaust Survivor Talks About Obama's Peace Prize Around the globe, solidarity actions are already being planned for the week of December 27th--find one near you and join in the action! You can also make a peace prayer flag. Send them to us and we will carry them on the march. The peace prayer flags are an easy and powerful way to make sure your voice is present at this historic event. Peace is not just making nice speeches, as President Obama did in Cairo when he told the Arab world that "we understand that the situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable" and that America would not turn its back on the legitimate Palestinian aspiration for justice and dignity. That is why I am asking you to help us "walk the talk" by supporting the Gaza Freedom March. With love for all humanity, Hedy Epstein and the CODEPINK team. Endorse the Gaza Freedom March! Sign the Pledge

POPSBlue Whale ‘Song of Death’ Warns World of 2012 Catastrophe But to what Western scientists are now noting to their puzzlingly alarm as to the changing of the Blue Whales song the World over, the Yupik shamans first noted during a 2002 meeting in Yanrakynnot, Russia when in examining the ‘strange portents’ occurring throughout the Arctic Regions of our Planet warned that only 10 years were left before the ‘Time of the Great Ending’ was upon us all again.

POPSAmerica's Epitaph Karl Marx dismissed God as a hoax, and Lenin and Stalin have added in clear-cut, unmistakable language their resolve that no nation, no people who believe in a god, can exist side by side with their communistic state. Karl Marx, for example, expelled people from his Communist Party for mentioning such things as love, justice, humanity or morality. He called this "soulful ravings" and "sloppy sentimentality." . . . Today we are engaged in a final, all-out battle between communistic atheism and Christianity. The modern champions of communism have selected this as the time, and ladies and gentlemen, the chips are down--they are truly down.
