Three different members of the Bush State Department bust into the passport files on Barack Obama, and we are expected to believe it was in error, or merely curiosity. The sad thing is that even Hillary Clinton's campaign has some explaining to do, as one of the people who resigned over this incident was President Clinton's ambassador to Paraguay. This campaign is just getting dirtier and dirtier. And hell, this is only the primary. I'm already getting sick over thinking what the fall will bring.

POPSJoe Biden can only lose this Debate My blog. I really believe that people are underestimating how low the expectations for Palin are. She really can do nothing but look better than expected, which means Biden can only lose unless he is really careful. He's not notorious for being careful.

Edward S. Herman's article on Z-Net, touches some important points: Can we expect a "way different" (and peaceful) international policy , if Obama wins? Do the Democrats promise to put an end to that "muscular foreign policy" which have harmed America's image for years? An interesting read. Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama on the campaign trail called for a larger army to meet U.S. "defense" needs. Now Obama wants us to take on a bigger commitment to violence. This will keep the arms cargo ships and planes busy and the bomb factories and plane and missile factories working at full capacity. Of course, those wanting infrastructure improvements and resources will have to wait and "hope" for a better future after our enemies are defeated and full hegemony and stability are established. POPSBill Clinton's Complimentary Remarks On Sarah and Todd Clinton concluded his statement on Palin by asking why "say anything bad about a person" and why couldn't everyone just "be happy for her elevation to the ticket," even though they disagree with her. This is a surprisingly gracious statement from Clinton on Palin, and he is absolutely correct. Politics shouldn't be about talking repeating vicious rumors concerning someone's family members and hacking into their email accounts to look for dirt on them. Perhaps both parties need to listen to what Clinton is saying; however, the left bears the brunt of responsibility for the smear campaigns against Palin since her name was announced as the candidate.
