POPS How to Bypass “This video is not available in your country” Both workarounds above are brilliant and work like a charm. Also, if someone posts a youtube on CM, for example, and I get the dreaded *not available in your country" message, you can't even see what the youtube was supposed to be! So, to get around that, I just do a Google search for the youtube URL itself and the top search result will tell you the title and exactly what video they want to keep from you. Then I just paste that title into youtube's search box and voila! .:D I hope this will help others who also HATE that damned *not available* message. I have a pretty basic Comcast package and ever since I heard people complaining that they removed the MEssNBC, I found it up on stn.#128, away from the more "regular" channels, so I'd advise one to scan their sets, you may still have it. (I can't believe I'm helping anyone find the thing;-) Anyway, I think it would be too obvious for Comcast to make it any more scarce. Maybe it's just as well to keep those nutjobs (Olbermann, Matthews, Maddow,etc.) all in one place where they think they've really got something goin' on. Otherwise who knows what kind of hell they'd raise with their whining.

POPS Hey... Want a Baby? The expression "life is cheap" seems to be true these days. Why in the hell are people like this even allowed to be parents? I guess they didn't think to place an ad in the newspaper. They could've got a lot more from prospective baby seekers. Don't attack me for that statement. It's more a reality than you might know. Anyway...I'm just glad they don't have it any more (the baby that is). But knowing how things things go in our wonderful courts these days, it's possible they can get custody restored. That is if they want the poor thing.

There once was a time when a man would take pride in producing quality and value in exchange for a paycheck, it seems that time is past. Millions of dollars paid out for what can be equated to theft. When you pay someone for exacting specifications and that someone produces substandard results then that someone ripped you off and that amounts to theft. And the Bureau for Overseas Building Operations is ‘considering’ whether to seek reimburdement? How freaking nice of them to ‘consider’ reimbursement. Isn’t anybody in this government going to be held to account for anything it does? America continues to show the world that we can no longer be counted on to build a soundly constructed building, even with $700 million, how the hell are we going to help reconstruct an entire country? This is embarrassing.

POPSOn becoming invisible More: I abandoned my cart, walked over to Customer Service, and asked if I could have a comment form to fill out. The Customer Service employee—who, bless his heart, could see me—said they didn’t have a comment form, but he listened to my complaint… He told me that if I wanted to talk to the Assistant Manager…I could deliver my complaint in person. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that the Assistant Manager had been one of the guys who couldn’t see me. What the hell. It was worth a try. I walked over to the Assistant Manager. When I was just a few feet away from him, I stopped, planted my cane, and looked directly at him. Damned if I wasn’t still invisible. It was weird—he was a tall man, but when his eyes moved from one side to the other I could see them making an upward bump in their travel path when they were passing over me. He refused to look directly at me for even a second. I kept looking straight at him. There was no way he could have missed me.
