POPSWhy do men shave? >> Alexander the Great never lost a battle, not to the Persians or to anyone else. But he did order his men shaved so that their beards could not be grabbed in battle. Same for the Romans. Yet you find many men who support a beard and I am sure there are a variety of reasons for that too, but I am not getting into that right now. I must admit though that a beard or a moustache alone on some men look very graceful. Now its your turn to talk, why do you shave guys? <<

POPSEstimate of AIDS Cases in US Rises This is shocking. And what language is this: "...the epidemic in this country is stable"? When is an epidemic stable? The country went nuts when a guy got on a plane with TB. Would you want to be informed if you were attending college with someone who had smallpox? Aren't parents still informed when a child in class has head lice or pink-eye? The disease is spreading because no one dares to say that the public should know about a persons STDs. And with promiscuity commonplace, ignorance creates the pool for this to flourish and threaten the innocent.
