POPSAutumn is Apple Time Early varieties include the classic Red Delicious, which are striped to solid and red, and have a sweet taste; and the Jonagold, a cross between a Jonathan and a Golden Delicious, and are bright red and can be sweet or slightly tart. Later varieties include Rome, Fuji, Granny Smith, and Jonathan. Romes are a deep red and are slightly sweet. Fuji’s range in color from gold to red and often have red striping, and are great for snacking. Granny Smith apples are green, tart apples that are perfect for baking. Jonathans have light red stripes over deep red or yellow and are slightly tart. For a quick and easy simmered fall punch, combine 2 cups apple juice, 1/2 cup orange juice, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, and 2 or 3 cloves. Simmer on the stove for 20 to 30 minutes. Imagine a dinner party where you invite all the interesting people you don’t see nearly enough, but with the added benefit of not having to clean your house. It’s genius, I tell you. Throw in some blankets, some grapes, salad, bread, cheese, a bottle of wine, and cookies or cupcakes (or in our case, both!) and you have the makings of a very fine evening indeed. Basically, we were in fear for our lives but it wasn't because of drive-by shootings, drugs, gangs, etc. Our parents and grandparents were a much bigger threat! The worst thing you could catch from the opposite sex was cooties. It was unbelievable that dodgeball wasn't an Olympic event. Having a weapon in school meant being caught with a slingshot. Scrapes and bruises were kissed and made better. Taking drugs meant orange-flavored chewable aspirin. Abilities were discovered because of a "double-dog-dare." That might seem subtle, but there's a big difference. The Cato Institute, a libertarian think-thank, did a study on the subject. What they found is simply mind-boggling. They calculated that the US spent between $30 to $60 billion (with a 'b') a year safeguarding oil supplies in the Middle East during the 1990s, even though its imports from that region totaled only about $10 billion a year during that period. A more comprehensive study that includes the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and other oil protection services (the coast guard is clearing shipping lanes and doing navigational support to oil tankers, etc) shows that actual subsidies to Big Oil are between $78 to $158 billion (again, with a 'b') per year.

Bad breath - Some studies claim people with lots of antibodies due to bum gums have a 50 to 100 percent greater chance of heart disease. Fried Green Tomatoes Unfortunately the movie version has been "sanitized" to attract the heterosexual audience. Even though it fills my emotional cache I still wish they would have had the guts to lift it above that level, but I'm a sucker for the southern accent. 2. Aimee and Jaguar This movie is huge in it's structure and huge in it's emotion. AND it's based on a true story. It's great love in times that make love seem impossible. 3. Loving Annabelle. OK, so it's a sexy, cheesy, student/teacher, kinda disturbing love affair with Simone stuck in a loveless affair with a man (of course). I'd watch it again just for the music though. 4. But I'm a Cheerleader. This boot camp is so absurd that it's funny. And the moral of this review is that I cannot come up with 5 good lesbian movies. What a shame.

Plastic sea trash doesn't biodegrade and often floats at the surface, coming from overflowing sewage systems and then drift thousands of miles. The sheer quantity of plastic that accumulates in the North Pacific Gyre, a vortex formed by ocean and wind currents and located 1,000 miles off the California coast, has the scientists worried about how it might harm the sea creatures there. Plastics have entangled birds and turned up in the bellies of fish, and one paper cited by the NOAA estimates 100,000 marine mammals die trash-related deaths each year. Only humans are to blame for ocean debris. Only humans can do something about it.
