POPSSEIU allegedly threatened to "Kill" company Imagine a union threatening to come “kill” your company because it didn’t want you to have the choice to choose a secret ballot. No wonder they’re spending so much time and money trying to pass the Employee Free Choice Act, which would effectively eliminate secret ballots altogether. Mr. Southwell’s suit against SEIU continues.

POPSPermission? Long article at source - required reading... The public has an legal obligation to let the government know when they are displeased, and the only part that armed thugs in police uniforms need to play in this is to insure that the traffic flow continues (around the demonstrations), and that property is not destroyed. That's what they get paid to do. It is not the job of "police" to censor or to silence whatever the public has come out to say-to the so-called powers-that-be.

POPSFCC Backs Google/Soros ‘Net Neutrality’ Internet providers in the past have rejected what they see as government interference in their networks and how they manage traffic. The US Congress has also been looking into the issue and a net neutrality bill is expected to be introduced shortly in the House of Representatives. POPSReally? You don't need facts, just a low IQ
The free market never does anything right, does it? If you have to pay $500.00 for a 200.00 airline ticket...thank a union member. If you are stuck in traffic for 2 hours in what should be a 45 minute commute because there is a road project that has taken 3 years and still is not completed, which should have taken 4 or 5 months...Thank a Union member. If you find the productive traditions of your nation being sucked away by third-world countries, because the cost of paying someone 28 dollars an hour to glue a sticker on an automobile - plus another 40 dollars an hour cost to the company, blame a union member. If your country is being ransacked by fascist thugs and greedy materialists who care not one iota for a particular company, just whatever they can control or steal...thank a union member. If state funds are depleted because trade shops keep their members on unemployment for 40% of the year, which results in staggering costs to taxpayers, then thank a union member.

POPSAnd I thought Portland was a Biking town ... But this ... this is clearly what I would call a bicyclers Capitol. I've never been to Amsterdam, although I've met several people from there, and even a missionary who went there to try and help the younger generation connect with their spiritual lives. But, I have ALWAYS been impressed with the biking culture they have there. This post, and these pictures goes a long way in describing it. Mostly, I just loved the pics, and thought you might like to see what a LOT of bikes looks like.

POPSGolan Levin and Collaborators Just had this thought, watching Golan levin's art, that our humanity is made of meaning. meaning, we find that which is meaningful in close proximity to us. whether it is an eye on a moving stock. or shapes generated by software, it is NOT not like us. I find this thought worth further development.

POPSRacist Mobs at it in Australia (Again) There were also reports that the group attacked a taxi driven by an Indian Sikh and an Asian shopkeeper. In scenes reminiscent of the Cronulla riots, when 5,000 white Australians congregated in the Sydney beachfront suburb and attacked Lebanese immigrants, groups of men jumped on cars that were stopped at traffic lights and chanted racist slogans to the terrified passengers.

POPSCybersecurity Act: President Could Shut Down Internet The language is very vague and the powers broad which would also create another "Czar" of Cybersecurity. (This Czar thing must end. Americans abhor dictators but the government increasingly creates them). The plea of "necessity" again being used for dictatorial powers. The real danger is this: In an "emergency" the internet would be abuzz with people trying to find the truth, but all government powers of FREE PRESS AND FREE SPEECH through the world's largest free medium would be SHUT DOWN. All "news" and information regarding said event would be carried by the (very untrustworthy) MSM Networks and radio and print controlled by newswires. ONLY THE ALTERNATIVE MEDIA would be abolished then under the word of one man, a VIRTUAL DICTATOR. The "official story" of the "emergency" would be the only thing published, perfect for propaganda and controlling all Americans. What about VOIP phone service used by millions, including business?

POPSInstead of Fighting Traffic Cameras, Start Driving Safely People don’t like these cameras because they catch them breaking the law and present enforceable proof of it, and few people like to pay for breaking the law. Instead of fighting these cameras how about we all drive the speed limit and actually stop at red lights. Wow, what a concept. Thinking about safety on the road and not endangering everyone else. Yes people, safety IS why these cameras are being installed. Because the general population cannot seem to control themselves, tax payer dollars have to be spent on these damn cameras. The other reason for these cameras is because too many people think it is acceptable to drive their vehicles without paying for the privilege. License fees and property taxes are inevitable if you want to drive. We all have to pay. No one gets to drive for free.
