The letter was signed by top prosecutors in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Michigan, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Washington state. All are Republicans, and McMaster and the attorneys general of Florida, Michigan and Pennsylvania are running for governor in their respective states. Last week, McMaster said he was leading several other attorneys general in an inquiry into the constitutionality of the estimated $100 million deal he has dubbed the "Cornhusker Kickback." Republican U.S. Sens. Lindsey Graham and Jim DeMint of South Carolina raised questions about the legislation, which they said was amended to win Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson's support. "Because this provision has serious implications for the country and the future of our nation's legislative process .....

The spores killed five people: Two Washington, D.C., postal workers, a New York City hospital worker, a Florida photo editor and a 94-year-old Connecticut woman who had no known contact with any of the poisoned letters. Seventeen other people were sickened. Obama says his decision to give the Postal Service a role in responding to a widespread biological attack won't supersede the authorities of other agencies. This still doesn't require surgery, only a little bit of your blood. These past few months of hardship have caused me to reach the end of my rope. I am unsure how much longer I have to live. But what I do know is that the one thing that can save my life is a matching donor. And with someone like you, I am unwilling to lose hope! I desperately need your help and kind support in finding my match.

POPSFlorida Court ets Athiest Holy Day ;) The judge said, "The calendar says April 1st is April Fools Day. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that, if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his day. Court is adjourned." You gotta love a Judge that knows his scripture!

POPS35 years behind bars for having bushy sideburns
These are the kind of stories that demonstration how broken and totally unfair our justice system is. Anyone with a couple of "thinking" brain cells would realize that when it comes to human existence, right vs. wrong is not an exact science. Human emotion always trumps common sense if laws aren't there to intervene. This is a good reason why the DEATH PENALTY should be abolished. Many western societies who have advanced so beyond the mentality of the USA in sophistication have long understood this. I love my country but too many Americans who also profess love for this country will at the drop of a hat bark, HANG EM or OFF WITH HIS HEAD, and follow through if they could because of an naive notion that ONE SIZE FITS ALL. In other words, if you don't look like them, act like them, "think" (I use that term loosely) like them, they will refer to your ubiquity as alien and not deserving the rights they enjoy. Ignorance is not bliss! http://www.thethinkingblue.com/family/BOSTONLEGAL.html

POPSCongressional Candidate Lieutenant Colonel Allen West Retired Lt. Col. Allen West runs for Congress Navy Times Retired Lt. Col. Allen West thinks the good people of Florida respect a leader who takes bold action to get results. He’s confident they’ll vote for him in November because of " and in spite of " an incident in which he took the law into his own hands in Iraq to protect his troops. “It’s about individual accountability and responsibility, and that’s what people want,” said West, 46, who is running on the Republican ticket in Florida’s 22nd Congressional District. The district stretches from northern Broward Country through to Palm Beach County and includes the areas of Boca Raton, Deerfield Beach and Coconut Creek. In trying to reclaim a seat that had been held by a Republican for more than a quarter-century, West is running against Rep. Ron Klein, a first-term Democratic incumbent.

POPSBCBS Sabotage Health Care Reform at State Level Blue Cross Blue Shield speaks with forked tongue. Look for your state in list below: " Part of the reason the BCBS Association has claimed that it opposes the reform bill in its current form is because of what it perceives as a weak individual mandate. However, the BCBS Association-supported ALEC campaign depicts the very notion of an individual mandate as "anti-freedom." So either way the Senate acts, BCBS will be able to trash the bill and try to kill reform. According to ALEC, constitutional amendments have been filed or pre-filed in Arizona, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, West Virginia, and Wyoming. Legislation is being discussed in 12 other states: Alabama, Alaska, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Montana, Tennessee, and Utah. A bill passed the Arizona legislature in June, and will go to a public referendum in 2010."
